Guest SnookiePink
yes yes yes~ i agree. asians= cute, yet stylish. then theres the aussies, which aim for the sexy and hot look. ALSO. the muzza style .___.' full on fluro. haha! I'm Aus but I don't try to dress 'sexy or hot', I'd say I'm heavily influenced by European fashion, love to dress kind of cute yet sophisticated plus elegant! (I'm not 100% Australian either.) Not really getting into some of the trends at the moment; but the gladiator sandals are quite cute I have to say!

Guest twig*star
Asians are not ahead in fashion and frankly have never been ahead in fashion. They copy the europeans ...... Marc Jacobs isn't european. nor is a lot of the designers who do shows at NY fashion week. Yeah, i forgot America existed. Big richard simmons country and for some reason i had a mind blank. Sorry. >_< But either way, I don't believe Asia to be ahead of these places in terms of fashion ...... That said, i think it's hilarious that Asians in western countries are such fabulous designers. I see many Giseles in stores and Gladiators everything (flats, heels) Supre is so overrated. I hate that store. Someone needs to burn their neon colour clothes --" Check the stores of Bardot, Sportsgirl, Novo (most my shoes come from here), Betts, Myer etc. - Lenaa I hate Sportsgirl .... And Novo shoes seriously kill my feet. They're really hard like blades cutting into my skin, and trust me, i once got huge watery blisters for a month for fashion so it's not like i'm a pansy ..... yes yes yes~ i agree. asians= cute, yet stylish. then theres the aussies, which aim for the sexy and hot look. ALSO. the muzza style .___.' full on fluro. noooo ..... maybe the internationals from Asia are stylish but not the Australian born ones. They out-dag the Aussies even .... hahaha and i bought some fluoro on a black background dress. it looks scene but i'm too ashamed to wear it outside the house ..... CCC I think is Combined Catholic Colleges. They represent their school in a sports tournament of Catholic schools. Interesting! I knew highschool was good for something. The clothes aren't very nice. They are too plain for me. Target - personally not recommended if you want more fashionable and a better variety of clothing style. It's supposed to be cheap and it is a big discount outlet but I don't think it's that cheap. Sportsgirl - I don't go there much, but it's a bit expensive. In my standards, $30 AUD for one item of clothing is expensive. Anyway, I'm not from Melbourne but there should be lots of clothing stores that sell for less than $35. National clothing stores that should be in all states of Australia. Edit// I'll give you the address to the stores in Melbourne. -Valley girl (girly clothing and cheap) Shop 2001, Highpoint Shopping Centre 120 Rosamond Rd, Maribyrnong, VIC 3032 (03) 9317 3600 -Temt (similar style to Valley Girl) Shop GD 063, 211 Latrobe St Melbourne, VIC 3000 -Jay Jays (for guys and girls) There's about 10 stores in Melb. I'll give you one of them. 658 Church St Cremorne, VIC 3121 (03) 9420 0200 -Cotton On (for guys and girls) Same for this one. There's a few stores. 138 Bridge Rd Richmond, VIC 3121 (03) 9428 4244 Hope that helped.

A LOT of the internationals from Asia from USYD make pretty questionable fashion choices - some quite inappropriate, others - i actually wonder if they dressed in the dark. In fact, the majority of ABCs i know dress rather well and definitely do not 'out-dag' the Aussies - not sure which ABCs you've encountered. though i will agree with the asian designers in western countries comment - two of my favourite designers: alexander wang and phillip lim those ugly white shoes = = and the emerging gladiator shoes are you talking about rabens? if so, i totally agree. Guest rnb.edge_
I doubt there's AN Australian fashion...it's all different and depends on where you're from. Sydney and Melbourne are more asian-based compared to other states. I've seen some asians follow non-asian trends and it looks...alright. Asian girls from around Melbourne wear petite clothes, e.g. long trench coats, skinny jeans, t-shirts, etc. For asian guys...well, it'd depend on the age - older teens wear a tartan-like shirt with baggy jeans, younger teens go for the full-on baggy gangster clothes/look o.O

Guest anna12125
Australian fashion follows asian fashion pretty closely i assume. What you see off the racks in Japan or hk will appear like a year or two later in Australia. It hurts my eyes what ppl wear here sometimes, seriously. I just wish they had more brand name stores than everyday stores like Jayjays, or sportsgirl, or cotton on or Supre which is yuck yuck yuck I want a H&M -________-
Guest mika.16
CCC isnt well-known for the brand, but i guarantee ALOT of the yr 12 jerseys are made by them so alot of ppl wear CCC without realising! lol
