2. 'Voice 4: Judgment Hour'

 

For this new season, airing on June 18th at 10:50PM KST, Kang Kwon-Joo (played by Lee Han Na) meets her match, when a serial killer, who has the same enhanced hearing ability as her, comes into the scene. Actor Song Seung Hun has joined as the new male lead for the fourth season. He plays the role of Detective Derek Jo, a previous Los Angeles Police Department officer. The chemistry between the new character of Derek Jo with Kang Kwon-Joo is something to look forward to, as well as how they will work together to catch the dangerous killer with special abilities.

tvN Shares Detailed Drama Lineup For 2nd Half Of 2021

 

tvN has released their drama lineup for the remainder of 2021!

 

 

Coming up on tvN is “Hospital Playlist 2” on June 17 and “Voice 4” on June 18. Scheduled for July are “The Devil Judge” and “You Are My Spring” (literal title). Upcoming shows without premiere dates include “The Tragedy of One,” “Seashore Village ChaChaCha” (literal title), “High Class,” “Yumi’s Cells” (literal title), “Cliffhanger,” “The Secret Royal Inspector and Jo Yi” (literal title), and “Bulgasal” (literal title).

 

“Voice” revolves around an emergency call center and the employees who fight crime using the limited information they get from the urgent calls they receive. After premiering its first season in 2017, the upcoming fourth season will pit the Golden Time Team against a vicious murderer with extraordinary hearing abilities that rival their own.

 

Lee Ha Na will be reprising her role as life-saving voice profiler Kang Kwon Joo, while Song Seung Heon will join the cast as new character Derek Jo, a unit leader at the LAPD who winds up collaborating with the Golden Time Team.

Hospital Playlist 2, The Penthouse 3: 10 new K-dramas and movies showing in June

 

Most of us are counting down the days when Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) ends on June 13, so we can, hopefully, dine out and meet our family and friends without too many worries about the Covid-19 pandemic.

The start of the drama will show how Derek Jo ends up collaborating with the Golden Time Team in Korea, so I hope viewers will look forward to that storyline. I felt pressured because the previous actors did really well, but I tried to bring out Derek Jo’s individuality.”

*** These stills were released yesterday, June 16. I guess there is a lot of action in the drama. We can look forward to a new side of Song Seung-heon that we've never seen before. My expectations are high for his action scenes here. The production team said that he will be performing high-level action scenes in the drama surrounded the scene throughout the filming. Can't wait! “Voice 4” Director Shares 3 Points That Separate The Upcoming Season From The Rest

 

 

The director of “Voice 4” has shared three key points to look forward to ahead of the premiere!

 

“Voice,” which aired its first season in 2017, is about an emergency call center and the employees who fight crime using the limited information they get from the calls they receive. Lee Ha Na stars as Kang Kwon Joo, the ace voice profiler of the Golden Time Team, and Song Seung Heon joins this season as Derek Jo, a unit leader at the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD).

 

To better describe the upcoming season, director Shin Yong Hwi picked three points that distinguish it from the earlier seasons. For the first point, director Shin Yong Hwi picked the warm comfort given to victims. At an earlier press conference, Shin Yong Hwi commented, “In Season 4, we focus on the topics of restoring trust and healing pain among broken families. What makes it different from previous seasons is that it doesn’t stop at catching criminals but offers victims warm comfort and emphasizes the restoration of family relationships.”

At the same time, Shin Yong Hwi emphasized the stronger and more intense villain in season four.

 

The upcoming series will feature a villain that will outdo Mo Tae Goo (Kim Jae Wook) from season one, Bang Jae Soo (Kwon Yul) from season two, and Masayuki Kaneki (Park Byung Eun) from season three.

 

The director added, “The villain in season four is powerful too. As this season has a societal foundation and focuses on broken families, the villain is also a by-product of a broken family,” revealing the background of the Circus Man, who uses the same extraordinary hearing abilities as Kang Kwon Joo to commit crimes instead of save people.

 

For the third and final point, Shin Yong Hwi picked the visualization of Kang Kwon Joo’s hearing.

 

The director had previously explained that he chose to work on “Voice 4” because he read the script and had the desire to try directing the story in a different way. He commented, “I thought it would be more fun if we could emphasize the visualization of hearing. I tried to direct it in a way that made it seem like both Kang Kwon Joo and the other agents were all on the spot. It’ll be good if you look forward to the visualization of Kang Kwon Joo’s hearing.”

 

tvN’s “Voice 4” premieres on June 18 at 10:50 p.m. KST.
