I honestly always pictured Gaspard Ulliel to play Edward.

Gaspard is like..mind blowing he's drop dead gorgeous hahaha, but I admit he'll look at little too old for the part.

But then I pictured him to look young, but somewhat older than the rest? okay I don't make sense haha but yeah

I'm more disappointed with who they picked for Bella, but

I have yet to watch the movie to see if I change my mind.

hmm i think they actually chose the perfect Edward Cullan, Robert Pattinson. I don't think I could picture anyone else while reading the book, LOL.

he's got everything that describes "Edward Cullan" in the book.

Sorry, but whenever I watch his interviews and such he always seems sooooo out of it like "wh00000!!!"

I admit, Rob would probably be a crazy awesome guy to party with XD but I never found him very Edward-like

When I read Twilight, I imagined someone very pretty-boy looking and rather snobbish and "well-bred"

When I read the description of Edward, I imagined Mike He. I don't know why, although he's asian, he knows how to control his facial expression. His eyes expressionative? if that's a word. And his smile is very seductive & breathtaking. I think he portrayed somewhat a good Edward in Devil Beside You, he can be mysterious yet charming.

As for American actors, I would pick Gaspard or Kevin Flamme, he's exactly what's described in the book-- high cheekbones, strong jawline, a straight nose, and full lips.

I was just wondering, is there any possibility that they're going to change the cast for New Moon? I'd die if Kevin play Edward Cullen.

I have always seen my eCullen as Asian, like jaejoong. Everything that he seems to be in real life just fits Edward. The way he talks, he just has a naturally soft gentle velvet voice, its almost as if he is singing. and when he does sing, omg! its like the perfect edward, he also plays the piano too. His face is so beautiful, it almost seems as if its unreal and his eyes sparks mystery. i think jaejoong screams edward cullen, even though hes not white or whatevers, his characteristics says it all.

This is how i picture edward to look like in the one scene where Bella took a candid pic of edward after she got a camera as a gift for her birthday (in New Moon)

i agree with everyone who sed jae joong. i sound biased but jae joong is amazingly beautiful and his personality really suits the character. if there was an asain remake of twilight LOL then il choose jae joong as edward ^^
