whistlei
also think he come to Jeju/Tamra to investigate something (wouldn`t it be interesting if it turn out the undercover police is him?!).. sorry I cut your post I also thought the same thing when I was watching episode 4. Everything Park Kyu does is investigating. I think he was sent there to investigate. Well all I can come up with is that, since he doesn't look like the type who would molest some girl and get exile. The reason why I watched this was probably the mystery behind who he really is...and how those people are going to fight this political issue. I also heard that this drama was also base on the unequal rights between girls and guys. ^^ pretty interesting for a drama.
DDuk
At first, I thought so too but he is not..Park Kyu is a prince, place in exile for reasons never disclose in the manhwa. you can read about it here. SPOILER-Y QUESTION.... I got a question then... if Park Kyu is a exiled prince than what is his relation to the exiled king and Seo Min?
Guest Moe
The relationship between Park Gyu and Beo Jin on the other started out with misunderstandings and deepens through trials of hardship. The emotions simmers slowly through time. It seeps into the vein and flows into the bloodstream. It came into existence without the owner knowing about it until when they come to a realization, the poison has already penetrated deeply into the heart. That is the kind of romantic development we often fantasize about. That's what stories are made of. And that's what I like. I have to counter on the Will-Jin pairing. I think they're relationship is set out to be that way. What I mean is, it would be odd to have a foreigner appear as arrogant after being washed ashore. He's nothing like Park Kyu who's made up to be the total opposite of William(personality wise). Although it looks like Will-Jin relationship is progressing too quickly, I also think that things could go the opposite direction as well. It's too soon to tell. I also believe their relationship will go through trials and hardships due to the fact that he's a foreigner on foreign land. However, I'm liking both the pairings thus far. I can say that I'm both a Will-Jin & Kyu-Jin shipper. Quick question, is there a Seo Woo thread made up yet?

nophankh
SPOILER-Y QUESTION.... I got a question then... if Park Kyu is a exiled prince than what is his relation to the exiled king and Seo Min? Good question, I don't know. I have not read the manhwa. I guess we'll have to find that out later. Favorite SCENES from ep. 6 Too funny, Park Kyu getting scolded for going to a Gisaeng house. I love her face, 'he went where?" Park Kyu trying to persuade BJ to stay, actually, it was more like lecturing her to. Nope, she didn't listen, off she went to run off with William. He followed her but stopped when he longer saw her. This is near the end, I wonder what BJ's mother is thinking. Something is up, she has plans for these two. Look at her smile. Guest asadal
^When Beo Jin's mother caught wind of Kyu's interest in Beo Jin, she thought about marrying her off to Kyu. She thinks Beo Jin is ugly and a good-for-nothing, so she definitely won't find a husband in Tamra. But Kyu is a noble from the capital and has a thing for her daughter, pretty darn good catch she thinks to herself. It'll be pretty funny seeing the mother being super nice to him now. The relationship of William and BeoJin brings out the relationship between Park Kyu and BeoJin (just like the story of Hana Yori Dango or the direction of the recent My Fair Lady if you will. It's the usual quick sparks vs. slow intoxication.) Personally, I'm not fond of William however I do appreciate the presence of William because he pulls attention of the main girl which intensify the angst from the "underdog" Park Kyu. Guest atel
i really like Im Juhwan in this role. i hope he gets good parts in the future... of the several korean model-turn-actors out there, he's the first one i've really liked. he has much potential with his career considering his looks as well. (side ramble - anyone reading vampire knight here?... sometimes i wonder what it be like to have it as live-action, i think he'd be good as kaname... eh... maybe that's just me... - though personally i don't think vampire knight can translate well as a live action- or maybe it can with the right director...? hahahahah) little sad this drama's ratings aren't good (6 - 4% range for a weekend drama) - but hopefully the korean mania fans will keep it going. perhaps it's a good thing the drama has been shot beforehand...? ^When Beo Jin's mother caught wind of Kyu's interest in Beo Jin, she thought about marrying her off to Kyu. Guest benchi101
Thanks for sharing the pictures, kyushi. =D Hey you guys! It's probably my one thousandth time here visiting but first post here. xD I fell in love with Tamra the Island ever since WEEK ONE! I must say, I LOVE IT! At first, it was awkward watching this because you know it goes way back in the 17th Century, but like I predicted, I got use to it. (I also read manhwas from Shilla time before. LOL) At first, I liked William! His eyes are so beautiful! But then later on, Park Kyu's personality won me over. =) I still like William! He's very sweet! Park Kyu is just irresistibly adorable! Hahaha You guys know the scene when Park Kyu was telling Beo Jin to not leave with William in episode 6? (<-- Kyaaaa! <33) I FELL IN LOVE WITH THE MUSIC IN THE BACKGROUND THAT INSTANT! PLEASE, if anybody has the music at that scene, can somebody give it to me? Thanks. I'm anticipating for the OST to come out! I'm going to buy hands down! Can't wait for the nest episode! Tee-hee! Park Kyu is beginning to show his true feelings! I like it!
Guest Masaya
Okay after 6 eps of Tamra, I have to admit. My adoration for Park Kyu has ripen and my interest in Tamra grew in heights. (In fact, priority wise it has replaced QSD.) I've turned into a Park Kyu fangirl. What a dashing man! His painful eyes shot through the heart of me. So beautiful! Oh Im Joo Hwan, he's sure one tall and handsome man who possesses the smexy smirk and those eyes that talk. This means I'm itching to make some MV. hahahaha As for William, someone can throw him in the ocean (before I do it myself now.)
Guest hjkomo
This is near the end, I wonder what BJ's mother is thinking. Something is up, she has plans for these two. Look at her smile.^When Beo Jin's mother caught wind of Kyu's interest in Beo Jin, she thought about marrying her off to Kyu. What's even funnier is that BJ's mom asked Park Gyu if Beo Jin did 'something' to him that she (BJ) must take responsibility for. [usually, it's the other way around...where the guy does something to the girl (i.e. seduces her) and then ends up having to marry her] That scene cracked me up.
