and steps to do to cover the acnes using the makeup
Hi all,

Like the topic title said what's the difference between tinted moisturizer and foundation? Because I heard people said 'use tinted moisturizer instead of foundation, and they are both the same.' Is that really true? And is tinted moisturizer hard to use?

Lastly, what are the steps to do the makeup for acne?

I know

step 1 is to have a clean face

step 2 moisturize

step 3 conceal the acne?

step 4 put foundation to cover the concealer? because the concealer is visible

Some people said use mineral powder instead of foundation because it's better for your skin. Can someone recommend a nice mineral powder? No everyday mineral, please, because I don't order anything online

well, logically speaking, normally skincare routine is this:

1) wash face

2) toner

3) moisturizer

4) sunscreen/makeup base(= primer)/foundation, depending on what you apply/skip

For some people, they have different products for sunscreen, primer and foundation. FOr some, primer comes with spf, so they skip sunscreen.

If you have different products, you are applying a total of 6 layers on your skin. Mathematically speaking, each product has different ingredients. So, if per product, there are 20 ingredients, and you apply Moisturizer, sunscreen, primer, foundation, that's a HUGE total of 80 ingredients (assuming each product has 20 different ingredients)

By applying tinted moisturizer, you skip makeup base + foundation. which cuts down on the number of ingredients you put on your face. Which means there is a lower probability of you reacting to a particular ingredient, since you are applying less stuff to your face.

so it's just math. :sweatingbullets:

makeup for acne:

NOrmal regime

1) wash face

2) OPTIONAL : your doctor's cream if you have (instructions should be given on the procedure on to apply the cream before or after you moisturize your face)

3) toner

4) moisturizer

5) OPTIONAL : pimple cream if you have any

6) sunscreen if you apply(which you SHOULD apply)

7) concealer for acne

8) powder, etc.

HTHS!

P.S: Tinted moisturizer and sunblock should be removed with a makeup removal at the end of the day, just like any other makeup. Double cleansing is still required!
