Synopsis (Credits: TVB)

A classic fairy story infused with the latest CGI technology,

It depicts a fight among human, the immortals and the evil spirits!

Influenced by her mother, who has transformed into a magic herb, a cheerful young lady GWAI CHOI-CHI (Linda Chung) has become a demigod. As a child, SHEK KAM-DONG (Chan Ho Man, Benny) was constantly bullied. Wong Tai Sin (literal translation: Great Immortal Wong) pitied him and he has since become a man of unusual physical strength. AN HEI (Chan Kam Hung, Sunny) is always sleepy because of a curse that has put on his family. Once, his body has accidentally been rested upon by the God of Sword (Au Kam Tong, Stephen) and he has become the master of swordplay since.

The three of them are good friends. They are determined to wipe out the Grand Wizard (Tam Siu Wan). With each of them having an extraordinary power, will they be able to make it and bring peace to human?

wow interesting, been awhile since TVB released something like this. costume designs are great as always and the cast is pretty good (benny chan is awesome) i'll check it out soon. ^_^

Is it really that interesting? Recommendations?! hahas I was planning to past on this since I'm not a big fan of ancient series and the cast is so so.. besides Benny Chan!

i just watched the first episode...maybe its just me but i find the CG too fake looking which is distracting :lol: TVB usually uses CG in their other ancient series but i think they're going a bit overboard with this one (or maybe its just the first episode). Its not that bad, im not a fan of linda chung and her bubbly characters but its tolerable. I dont feel like watching the rest of the series yet but i'll get it to later.

Out of 10 i'll give it a 6 for now.

I already watched up to episode 6,now waiting for 7. It's pretty okay, I don't really like the CG; way too much. Look at other shows like Journey to the West; that was really long time ago. But the settings, they actually built it themselves then they added a few CG in it. Oh well, I like the plot though. Linda's powers are so boring at first; all she does is with that whip. I am still wondering Benny gets the weird hand thing.

they dont make much magical fantasy old time dramas any more so i gave it a try. (olny up to ep 4 i think)

Linda chungs charecter is REALLY happy, i admire her being so positive but it get annoying after a while . The CG affects looks fake ^^' tvb wasnt ever that good with cg effects but otherwise i like the drama so far.

Plot wise, it's pretty good and that really surprised me. It gets very interesting but the CG is where I have the biggest problems with, they need to do better in order for people to take it more seriously.

surprisingly this serie is quite entertaining for me :) I find it quite funny. Linda is so adorable here. I just find the graphic or special effects to be too FAKE.

I agree with you there about the CG maybe they were on a low budget or something lol

But I do enjoy the storyline, benny snorting is funny but annoying!
