Yeah...I have always said this and will say again. JWS will be a big star in Japan after AMTR. I bet now if he flies to Japan, he will find several hundreds women at the airport waiting for him. Maybe 1,000 or more even...

His performance in AMTR was really good even to a male audience like me.

A great movie.... Wouldn't mind watching it a few more times

However, there's this part that I don't get... The scene where Son Ye Jin says she's a frog or something while Jung Woo Sung is picking up some herbal stuff.. I've been cracking my heads over that scene... What does it mean? Anyone care to explain? Thanks

I think in this conversation, maybe Su jin was telling Chui soo using a third person perspective about her real story with Yong ming.

Off my head, I think Su jin was recounting her affairs to Chui soo and that Yong Ming has a child with his ex-wife and etc etc and Chui soo was saying the child was also a victim of the affair.

Then Chui soo went on to say that if a frog chose to cross a busy road, then the frog has nobody to blame if it got rolled over by cars.

Sounds to me like saying if you chose to have an affair with a married man and got hurt in the process, you have nobody to blame.

Since screening on 22 Oct 2005, AMTR has never dropped below no.2. With the screening of Harry Potters for the weekend beginning 19 Nov, AMTR may have to give up top 2 positions in the Japan Box Office which it has occupied for a long time. (The average screening period of a movie is about 1 to 1.5 month in Japan)

A good movie with remarkable performance by both leads..

In fact it was so good that... it causes me to finish up half a box of my Kleenex!

Certainly worth recommending it to those who likes watching Korean movies!

I liked this movie...it was sad. Her ex...the one she was gonna run away with....was so ugly. Thank god he left coz then she wouldn't have met Jeong Woo-sung.

AMTR no. 1 for last 4 weeks in 9 major cities of Japan

20051119102412.879.0.jpg

According to Gaga the movie distributor in Japan, the box office of AMTR has been no. 1 for the past 4 weeks in the 9 major cities of Japan. The fever created by AMTR was also evident in the strong box office in the 4th week. The box office for the 4th week of AMTR was 91.8% of the 3rd week in 9 major cities of Japan. This compared well with two major blockbusters in Japan which were 'The Phantom of the Opera' at 85.9% and 'Calling for love in the centre of the World*' at 88.7%.

Yeah! I just saw this movie the other day and absolutely loved it! I like how the first half of the movie moved in a quick but steady pace. The second part of the movie was quite heartwrenching. The disease was believable, but unrealistic. I don't think memory works in a way where it comes and goes. I mean, once you lose it, isn't it gone? However, with that being said, I still liked the ending very much.
