Guest she-smiles
i remember watching this movie years back with my friends. we were all circled around the television, and the only sound we could hear was from the movie and our sniffling. so i watched the movie again, who knows how many times now. and it never fails to impress me. i cried like a baby once again. choi chul soo is someone i would love to marry! he's hot, patient, and loving. man oh man. <33 some of my favorite scenes (scenes that made me aww): -when they were playing that card game, and she was too emotional to guess, so she runs off into the bedroom, and it turns out that he had all aces the whole time. *cries* -the baseball scene: she asks him to leave her before she starts to forget him, but he won't leave her cause he's such a great husband. "there's an eraser in my mind." *cries* -all the sticky notes he left around the house. *cries* -the scene right after he beat up her ex: she had already lost her memory, she pissed on the floor, and he runs to her to clean it up and ends up in tears. *cries* -he visits her at the hospital, and they're in the cafeteria. he begins to cry and she asks him why, but he put on his sunglasses to hide his tears. *sniff* -the ending: when he takes her back to where they first met. "is this heaven?" *sigh* -he's never told her he loved her, until that very last scene. *cries* speaking of the ending, i was and am still very confused about it. towards the end, did she remember? but it's just temporary memory right? Guest nikky_p_28
After so many years, still the BEST KMOVIE in its genre. I was reminded of this movie again while watching Scent of a woman drama because the theme is somewhat similar with regards to dealing with love/relationship amidst a life altering illness. I am bracing myself for a possible disappointment when SOAW ends so I'm going to rewatch AMTR again to comfort myself that this is how a bittersweet love story should end. Up to this day for some reason, no drama or movie in the same genre can satisfy me as A moment to remember does. It is still the best ending acted by wonderful actors. I made this MV clips from the movie a couple of years ago. I was so inspired that my lazy self made something like this. LOL. Enjoy! PeerNorway
I watched this movie for the first time about a month ago and I was so taken by the very emotional story and the beautiful and very talented Miss Son Ye Jin. I become an instant fan of her, and I would list this movie as one of my absolute favorite and top movies of all time. This is how I got introduced to Korean movies and music. Guest jinmi.
I watched this movie early in the morning (well, night since I technically never slept) and I cried so much. The way they fell in love was cute and simple, and their relationship's progression made me fall in love with them. They were both very talented actors and extremely believable. I can't believe how much I cried. The story wasn't complicated or twisted but I think it was the simplicity that made it so emotional. I CRIED SO MUCH. T_T Absolutely beautiful movie. It's the first one I've seen and a great way to start off my adventures into Korean movies.
ShinmenTakezo
Watched the movie for the first time, it was very good but if i have to be honest, it didn´t live up to its hype for me. The actors are very good (SYJ and JWS are almost always brilliant), the story was touching and heartwarming but for me, something was missing, i don´t know that though. PeerNorway
When I was in Seoul this summer (my first trip) I had to go look for and find the Family Mart which was an important location for the movie. It is still there. They have even hang a big poster, two screen capture pictures of the Family Mart first appearances of three scenes in this movie and a signed message from both Son Yi-jin and Jung Woo-sung. PeerNorway
Here I stand on the opposite side of the road with my back turned to the Family Mart. This is the side entrance to the Renaissance Seoul Hotel (Diamond Room entrance).
