which is better?

its theatrical or director's cut version?

hey krek! Director's cut is much longer and better than the theatrical version. if you have watched the theatrical version i suggest that you watch the director's cut. If you like the movie because of the story somehow you will be ok with the theatrical, but if you love the movie (because of the story and the actors) you'll enjoy the director's cut more. Scenes such as why Chul-Soo hates his mom and where did he get his inspiration for his first project as an architect ar included in the directors cut.

hope this help!

It’s the ‘Moment’ for CBS Films

'Remember' gets English-language remake

By PATRICK FRATER

TOKYO — Sobini Films topper Mark Amin is making an English-language version of Korean-Japanese melodrama "A Moment to Remember" at CBS Films.

Sobini has a first-look deal with Lionsgate, where Amin is chairman and a major investor. CBS Films stepped in after Lionsgate turned down the pic.

Screenplay, which revolves around learning to live with Alzheimer’s disease, is to be penned by "Erin Brockovich" scribe Susannah Grant.

"It is earnest but sweet, and that is very hard to find," Amin told Daily Variety after a Tokyo Film Festival seminar attended by some 200 bizzers. "There is no schedule yet; we’ve only just hired the writer."

Project has a complicated genesis. Original material was a Japanese TV series, "Pure Soul," produced in 2001 for Yomiuri TV.

Korean language remake rights were sold to leading production house Sidus FNH, which co-financed with CJ Entertainment a John H. Lee-helmed movie that was released locally in 2004.

Launched in 2007, CBS Films aims to develop and produce four to six movies a year with budgets of up to $50 million per film.

One of my favorite and best Korean dramas. Some people may think that this movie is a typical Korean melodrama movie, but just what exactly makes this movie different from all the Hallyu movies? I guess people better watch this, just to know.

I'm quoting this from my blog, a very short review that I made letting people that such a movie exists.

A 2004 Korean movie directed by John H. Lee starring Jung Woo Sung and Son Ye Jin. Written by Lee Jae Han and Kim Yeong Ha. Based on a 2001 Japanese drama Pure Soul.

Boring and stupid, you might think at first. But once you reach the middle of the story, where things start to get more interesting, that's the time when you can't wait for it to end because you think that you're not going to watch it again because of the situations that are happening to the two main characters. It might not have the best ending, but its acceptable enough just to know what really happened to them at the end.

I've seen this movie four times, and the story especially the actors never cease to amaze me. They were both perfect for the role, just what you really expect from Jung Woo-sung and Son Ye-jin.

Highly recommended to everyone who is mature enough. Kids wouldn't really appreciate this, if you know what I'm saying. This isn't a teen movie either. I recommend males to watch this, and to some, this might even be a tearjerker. This isn't really a romance movie, it's more of a drama actually. But I guess its romantic enough to also consider it one.

Curious? Give it a try. Honestly, I don't really recommend something unless I know that its really worth watching and wasting your time.

*edit* btw, two gorgeous (and hot) and talented people in one movie. what more can you ask for?
