Filefront Status : Still can't upload and I think download is affected too.

To All FileFront Users: Starting at 6:00am PST on April 24, 2006, the FileFront website, including all of its network sites and forums, will be taken off-line for much needed maintenance. Features, including file hosting, image hosting, blogging, and file downloads will be temporarily down for no more than two days. Hosted user files will be down for slightly longer. This is in preparation for new and exciting features and better overall site performance and stability. We thank you for your support, patience, and understanding!

hey uploading team. we have a problem. i just noticed wackycashew's ff got shut down. so they're not just catching HQ's. i think they're going around to all the files during this maintenance check up and deleting everything that violates the rules. i changed the password so members would eventually come to the thread hopefully >_<!!

here's my take on this.

if the uploading people wouldn't mind, could you continue to upload all the files you had agreed on uploading?! you can upload in any of the following: sendspace, megaupload, your own filefront account, or any other uploading site that does not get blocked after a small number of downloads [like YSI]. after you create a link, post in this thread, and i'll update the first post with ALL the updated links. that way, people can still have one place to come to for all the links.

if you'd like to discontinue uploading the file you agreed to, please post and i'll get that taken care of. i can understand if people don't want to. after all the problems we've had >_<!! if you're ok with the changes, please continue adding your finished links to this thread. whichever your opinion, please post, so i can change the thread name, rules, etc. thank you and many sorries. i didn't know this would become such a hassle. :tears:

Please go ahead. I just hope that my directions are correct, that's all . . . . since they were kind of based on memory. No promises on accuracy if there is any change, after their maintenance and upgrade.

wow that was a fast response mikaney!!! yea, your idea works. we'll come up with something. alhtough filefront catches the hq files, couldn't we just cut the hq file into smaller pieces? it'll save on the download and upload time for both sides. plus it would be less suspicious to filefront authorities. because a number of soompi users have been frequently requesting and/or waiting for non-cb hq links.

^sylver, you're not the one making me sad!! it's the filefront people >_<!! *sigh* i wish they'd make a site like that for allll links, not just games!! filefront is SO awsome!! minus that one.. minor.. fact.. they have your own site, you can create your own subdomain, see how many people download, lots of mirror downloads, etc. blast it all! :w00t: oh, btw, i heard your clubbox has EVERYTHING. :P haven't really seen it bc clubbox doesn't work on my stupid mac, but THANKS for all your wonderful uploads!! ^^!!

No, I don't have EVERYTHING. :sweatingbullets: I only upload stuff that I watch. It's the kindness of the members of my CB that makes it looks like I have everything. They are the ones that upload most of the big files. ^_^
