The one anime that really popped up when I read your title was: Love Hina

Just because when I was starting out on anime, the forum I was at talked about it many times.

But that was long ago and Love Hina just finished probably LOL.

Other ones would be Negima, Ai Yori Aoshi, and DearS are the ones I've watched under the category Harem.
