White & blank screen but the sensor still works

I'm having some technical problems with my DS lite.

The touch screen on the bottom is always blank/white but everythigs else works. The top screen works, the sound works, and i can still press things on the touch screen. The problem is that I can't see anything. How can I fix this? Do I need to take it to a game shop and try to get it fixed? Please and thank you~

ur touch screen maybe dead?, does your ds still have warranty?

it's been awhile since i've opened a ds but ... i think it's better to take it to a game store to repair it. it's a bit confusing to take it apart and replace it and chances are you could probably mess up the motherboard along the way. if you still have warranty i say do that if not then take it to a game store.
