I LOVED IT

OH GOSH! At first i was like "ew another vampire craze" and then though "better watch it before i judge it... and i do like that magicalness." it is Such a great show

I just finished watching the first season in 1 day. Hahaha, I just got so hooked. I can't wait for season 2! Bill is hawt and cool right now but from what I've heard, everybody basically hates him for the later books. Thankfully, the guy that's doing this show isn't going to follow the books that much and wants to focus on Bill and Sookie's relationship instead so I'm hoping for a relatively happy ending? I love Bill and Sookie as a couple, though, Eric is hawt as hell too.

Love the humor in this show.

Really? I really like Eric and Sookie together actually. They seem to balance themselves out. There is a reason why people dislike in the later books, and he's trying to make up for it. Sometimes though, in the books, Sookie annoys me, or more like her actions/train of thought are somewhat hypocritical to me, idks. And considering the series is more on Sookie's life herself, I rather they follow the plot line than shift it so that it has a happy ending. She hasn't gotten her happy ending in the books, why should she get it in the show? Truthfully, her relationship with Bill isn't that long in terms of the books.

I do like how the series tries to fill in some spots that are missing in the books, just because it's in first person from Sookie. It was interesting how the storyline included the main characters' lives as well, and that they gave Tara a bigger part than in the books.

Does anyone know if they are going to do 1 book=1 season? Cuz then there will be a lot of seasons lol.

I saw a teaser for True Blood on HBO Asia last night (I was waiting for Bram Stoker's Dracula to come on).

Just finished watching 12 hours of season 1.. Sitting on the couch watching a TV show for 12 episodes has never felt so satisfying!!!

At the beginning it did kinda sounded like twilight, but it's just coincidence... Besides this story precedes the Twilight Saga...

Anyways, this show has totally confirmed my love for a vampire boyfriend. (lols........ laughs at self!!)

IT's amazing what i've been missing... Always watching Korean dramas when i could have just watched AWESOME stuff on my TV... (though i need to buy HBO before Summer 2009 now that I'm addicted........)

It's HBO. :x It's almost funny though because they have these scenes in their series and yet they cut out the part in Jarhead where you see Jake Gyllenhaal's butt.

I just started watching this show yesterday. There is never anything I want to watch on Korean tv when I come home from work and I'm too tired to read and too lazy to internet browse. I've always found the lead actress to be intriguing (she's not a typical beauty but there is something just *there* about her) so I wanted to watch it. I'm in the middle of episode 4 right now and it's pretty fun.

The one drawback? The last 24 hours, my southern accent has been slipping out very frequently, thus freaking out my boyfriend. Eeeep.

i just started watching this show yeaterday on HBO (Thailand). well, i guess i'm watching ep 2 or 3 (nor sure --jason drank Vampire blood and Sooky's friend was killed). then i wanna know who killed Sooky's freind (I can't remember her name =*=) plzzz tell me TT^TT i guess, he isn't Jason, right??

BTW, i really really love this show. in the first, i hated Bill (i hated his face and his eyes) but now, he is awesome!! Bill is a good actor!
