K-Pop SuperFest Announces Star-Studded Lineup Including Rain, THE BOYZ, Jessi, MOMOLAND, And More

 

 

An exciting lineup of performers will be taking the stage at K-Pop SuperFest this weekend!

 

K-Pop SuperFest is an upcoming virtual music festival organized by Sessions and Joy Ruckus Club. The event, which will be hosted by THE BOYZ’s Kevin and AleXa, will be streamed live from the Yes24 Live Hall in Seoul.

 

The lineup of performing artists for K-Pop SuperFest includes Rain, THE BOYZ, Jessi, MOMOLAND, Ailee, AB6IX, CRAVITY, Golden Child, Lovelyz, AleXa, GWSN, BLOO, woo!ah!, and DJ Soda.

Rain sold a commercial building he purchased 13 years ago, making 30 billion KRW (about $26 million USD) in capital gains.

 

According to reports on June 21st, Rain purchased the building in 2008 for 16.8 billion KRW(~$14.7 million USD) and later sold this year for 49.5 billion KRW (~$43.5 million USD). He has been using the building for his label, Rain Company. Among the attractive features of the building is its close proximity to Cheongdam Station and the luxury brand district. 

 

Numerically computed, Rain has gained 32.7 billion KRW but his actual profit would be less than that after considering he has spent 7 to 8 billion KRW for renovating his building, not to mention the taxes.

Rain Reportedly to Have Sold His Cheongdam Building After Making Capital Gains of Approximately USD 26.4 Million

 

 

Rain made a large sum of money from his building. 

 

According to reports on June 21st, the singer/actor has recently sold his 6-story building in Cheongdam area at KRW 49.5 billion (approximately USD 43.6 million). Rain purchased the building back in 2008 at KRW 16.8 billion (approximately USD 14.8 million). In 13 years, the building has made capital gains of approximately USD 26.4 million.

Real estate experts revealed that the building has its price increased thanks to its strategic area, being near to Cheongdam subway station and the luxury brand district.

 

The building was built on 1024.80㎡ lands. It has a total of 9 floors: 3 basement floors and 6 above-ground floors.

Seoul — Korean pop star Rain sold a commercial building he bought 13 years ago and made 30 billion KRW (SGD35million) in capital gains.

It was reported on June 21 that the actor-singer bought the building in 2008 for 16.8 billion KRW (SGD19 million) and later sold it this year for 49.5 billion KRW (SGD58 million). Rain has been using the building for his label, Rain Company, according to Allkpop.

Uee in talks to partner up with Rain in new drama 'Ghost Doctor'

Uee has been offered the lead role in the new drama 'Ghost Doctor'. She is currently reviewing her offer.

According to OSEN media, Uee is positively reviewing her offer for the drama 'Ghost Doctor' (screenplay written by Kim Sun-Soo, directed by Boo Sung-Chul).

'Ghost Doctor' is a ghost medical drama depicting the story of an arrogant doctor Cha Young-Min whose spirit ends up possessing the body of a doctor with a completely different background, skills, and personality than him. If she accepts the offer, Uee will work with Rain, who previously announced the news of his casting. This would be Uee's return to the small screen after about a year, her last project being 'SF8' in 2020.

'Ghost Doctor' is expected to air in the later half of this year.
