Korean superstar Rain comes to Taiwan as a jewellery brand spokesperson, missed Taiwanese noodles

 

 

 

Rain arrived in Taiwan on the afternoon of May 3 to attend an endorsement activity for boutique jewelry brand Tiffany & Co. 

 

Rain’s last visit to Taiwan was a Reality TV Show in November 2017. At noon today, when he entered Taiwan, Rain was warm to the people at the airport. He was fashionable at the same time. He wrapped the two-brand’s gold necklace by wearing it as bracelet. The way it is worn is quite unique, and the sparkling jewels selected are also eye-catching. 

 

Later, at 5 pm, Rain changed into a formal suit and appeared in the Xinyi District where the event was. It was completely different from the casual style black printed shirt when he just got off the plane. He chose to wear a dark royal blue suit with a black collar. The suit is quite eye-catching. Rain said that she was very happy to come to Taiwan to meet with everyone. He was asked if there was any food in Taiwan that he wanted to eat. Last year (2018), Jung Ji Hoon (Rain), who played an ace detective armed with excellent intuition and executive ability in JTBC "Sketch", will play the lawyer in MBC "Welcome 2 Life" and cross the reality and the unknown world with Lim Ji Yeon ,  Kwak Si Yang. 

 

It is expected that in this year (2019), the MBC”Welcome 2 Life", will be directed by Kim Keun Hong.  It is a drama about a skilled lawyer who enters a parallel world after getting into an unfortunate accident.

 

Rain will be taking on the role of the selfish lawyer Lee Jae Sang. He is an elite lawyer of the "JK Law Firm", one of the five largest law firms in Korea. He’s a person who can create something from nothing in order to win. 

 

 

Lim Ji Yeon will be playing Lee Jae Sang’s ex-girlfriend Ra Si On, a detective who acts before she thinks. After she was sucked into the parallel world, she was a working mother with positive energy and a wife with love and trust.

預計於今年（2019年）7月接檔《檢法男女2》首播的MBC新月火劇（週一、二）《Welcome 2 Life》，由《讓女人哭泣》金根洪導演執導，描述一位惡德律師遭遇事故後、進入平行世界，與180度大轉變的人生相遇的愉快幻想電視劇。近期確定出演陣容。

 

鄭智薰飾演「李在尚」，他是韓國5大律所之一「JK律所」的精英律師，保持著最高勝訴率，因為突發事故經歷巨大變化。

 

林智妍飾演李在尚的前女友、刑警「羅錫溫」。李在尚被吸進平行世界裡後，她是充滿積極能量的職場媽媽，也是用愛與信任守護在李在尚身邊的妻子。

Arriving at the airport, RAIN fashion was quite simple, wearing a black short-sleeved printed shirt with an amoeba pattern, paired with a black baseball cap and sunglasses. The only bright spot is the Tiffany HardWear chain design with 18K gold necklace worn as bracelet and the Tiffany T True series wide openwork 18K gold ring.

 

RAIN is ingenious, turning the necklace into a double-circle bracelet and mixing it with his own bracelet with ethnic elements to create a sense of style. The two pieces of jewellery he used are from Tiffany's popular classic collections, which showcase the soul and brand vibrancy of New York City in a very modern look, with minimalist lines and fine jewelry. When he appeared in the exhibition show at the South China Bank's head office in Taipei this afternoon, RAIN showed more his kind of style.

In September last year, he came to Taiwan to hold a fan meeting. Rain who visited Taiwan again after 8 months will become the father of two children soon. In the interview, Rain mentioned that many Korean variety shows come to Taiwan to shoot. "I like noodles and I hope I can have time to eat Taiwanese noodles." This jewellery theme is related to the four seasons. When the host asks which season he loves most? He laughed & answered he still likes the rainy days. No wonder his stage name is Rain. 去年9月曾來台舉辦粉絲見面會，時隔8個月再度訪台的Rain，這次身份也變為兩個孩子的爸爸，2月才宣布老婆金泰希再度懷孕，雖然二胎還沒出生，難得來台的他也開心地說：「很久沒跟大家見面了，帶著愉悅的心情來跟大家見面覺得很幸福。」幸福與滿足溢於言表。

在受訪Rain也表示很多韓國綜藝節目都會來台拍攝，自己透過節目認識不少寶島美食，而自己偏愛麵類，「我很喜歡吃麵食，希望有時間可以去吃麵」。這次珠寶主題與四季相關聯，當主持人問起他最愛哪個季節？他則笑回都不錯，但還是最喜歡下雨的日子，難怪藝名會叫Rain。這次Rain來台行程除了記者會外，稍晚時還會參加品牌晚宴，預計4日一早離台，停留時間不到48小時。

It was first reported in March that Rain received an offer to star in the upcoming romance fantasy drama of MBC. At the time, his singer's very-own agency, Rain Company, confirmed the offer but said it is just one of the projects that the Full House actor is considering at the moment. Now, Rain has finally agreed on the project.

 

Welcome 2 Life tells the story of a talented but selfish lawyer, Lee Jae Sang (Rain), who helps people who want to take advantage of the law. He is the top lawyer of JK Law Firm, one of the country's top five law firms.

 

Jae Sang normally does everything in order to win his case. But one day, he gets involved in a traffic accident. He gets sucked into a parallel universe due to the accident and begins to live a completely different life as an honest and honorable prosecutor.

 

Joining Rain in the K-drama are Blow Breeze actress Lim Ji Yeon and Oh My Ghost actor Kwak Si Yang. Lim Ji Yeon will be playing the role of Lee Jae Sang's ex-girlfriend, police detective Ra Si On, who usually acts before she thinks.

 

Although Ra Si On has a tough personality, she is kind by nature. She breaks up with Jae Sang and since then, they are not in speaking terms. However, in the parallel universe, Si On is a bright, energetic, and optimistic working mom who supports her husband, Lee Jae Sang.

 

Kwak Si Yang, on the other hand, will portray the role of police officer Goo Dong Taek, who is Ra Si On's partner at work. He is known for having a hot-tempered personality, but in reality, he is a soft-hearted person.

 

Welcome 2 Life is set to start filming once the casting is complete. It is expected to premiere by the end of July after the second season of Partners for Justice.

 

Meanwhile, Rain has been in the headlines lately not only because of his controversial Instagram post about his recent movie Uhm Bok Dong but also because of other reasons. For one, his company is planning to launch a boy group. The Rain Company is planning to produce a seven-member boy group that consists of Koreans and non-Korean members.

 

Additionally, Rain and his wife, Korean actress Kim Tae Hee, have announced in February that they will soon become parents of two children. Kim is set to give birth to their second child in September.

Hmm not up-to-date journalism? After "Carefree Travelers" Rain spent 2018 New Year's eve in Taiwan performing at the year-end concert! He was last in Taiwan in September 2018! for his fan-meeting! 

 

Anyway, I love how he looked at the Tiffany event, absolutely dashing! And am ecstatic at the news of his new drama! Yay, Rain is back to the small screen +dancing across the room+ Love it, love it, love it!

 

I finally got to order the Sketch DVD set 1, another yay, am waiting to order set 2 in June. Can't wait to receive it!

Each of the Libraries/spaces touches on the refined knowledge of various lifestyles, covering Travel, Music, Design and Cooking. The Cooking Library creates real-world experiences as you navigate the space to explore cooking and food. It has five-floors located in one of Seoul’s most affluent neighborhoods. It opened just last month (April) -  The second floor features the Ingredient House, filled with over 190 herbs and spices, which visitors can browse, touch, smell and sample. High-tech kitchens are staging grounds for cooking classes run by a corps of chefs & lecturers.  The third floor features Kitchen I where visitors can try out recipes from the library. Kitchen II, on the fourth floor, is a space for cookery classes. Entry to the Hyundai Card Cooking Library is restricted to members and two guests, with visits limited to eight times a month.  There are many collections of cookbooks in the library. The place is only exclusive for credit cardholders -

According to Rain Vietnam fanpage, which obtained the news from a weibo blog (as credited in the pictures), Rain was at a rehearsal for CDAC/Asian Culture Carnival in Beijing today. Rain is invited to perform at Asian Culture Carnival in Beijing, China. In these pictures it looks like he just finished rehearsing the theme song "Our Asia" with 6 singers from other countries in the region.

 

The event is scheduled for 12 May. Besides Rain, other artists attending the event are expected to be Andy Lau, Jacky Chan, Jet Li, Wakin Chau,  Jacky Cheung, JJ Lin, EXO's Lay ...
