Rain and Kim Ha Neul Confirmed for New Romance Drama

 

 

Rain and Kim Ha Neul are confirmed to star in new romance drama on Disney Plus.

 

Titled She (literal title), the drama follows Wan Soo, who dreams of living the perfect upper-class life after marrying the heir of Hwain Group. One day, her path crosses with a bodyguard named Do Yoon, and she confronts the secret hidden within the company.

 

 

Kim Ha Neul plays He Wan Soo, a skilled golfer who is named the best golfer in the country. After marrying the heir of the Hwain Group, he becomes the chairman of the company and gains recognition for his philanthropic work.

 

Rain will play the character of Do Yoon, a skilled graduate from the police university with impressive martial arts skills. He intentionally joins the security team of Hwain and becomes Wan Soo’s personal bodyguard.

 

 

In the glamorous world of a powerful conglomerate, excitement builds as the story unfolds the intriguing relationship between two characters from different backgrounds.

 

Director Park Hong Kyun behind New Heart, Queen Seondeok of Silla and The Greatest Love helms the series and Choi Yoon Jung from Only Love and Three Sisters pens the script.

Kim Ha Neul and Jung Ji Hoon (Rain) will appear in Disney+’s original series “Fine Artist Scandal”.

“Fine Artist Scandal” depicts the story of Wan Su, who dreams of a perfect life in the upper class by marrying the successor of Hwa In Group, but encounters the secret of Hwa In Group as she meets her bodyguard Do Yoon, who always stays by her side.

 

From movies to dramas, actress Kim Ha Neul showcases a diverse acting spectrum in various genres, including romance, action, and thriller, with her own unique style. She will lead the drama as the main character Wan Su. Wan Su, who has reached her career peak as a golfer, becomes the director of a foundation and gains worldwide popularity through charity work after marrying the successor of the Hwa In Group.

 

Actor Jung Ji Hoon, who has captivated the public in various fields as a singer-turned-actor, will take on the role of Do Yoon. Do Yoon is a former police officer and has excellent martial arts skills. Due to his own purpose, he will join the security team of the Hwa In Group and take charge of protecting Wan Su.

 

Kim Ha Neul and Jung Ji Hoon will work with each other as Wan Su and Do Yoon, raising anticipation for captivating chemistry. Set against the backdrop of a large conglomerate in the upper class, the two characters, who meet in different positions and circumstances, are expected to introduce fascinating new narratives.

 

In addition, the drama is directed by Park Hong Gyun, who is highly praised for his delicate and stable directing skills through works, such as “New Heart”, “Queen Seondeok”, and “The Greatest Love”. He reacts to Rain’s serious advice about exercising saying, “I’d rather die early”. Rain then pleaded, “Well, at least reduce it little by little once a day, please”. Kim Jong Kook replied, “Okay, I’ll give it a try.” Rain advised him to not exercise too much but he did not seem to care. In the conversation, Rain shared with him an article titled “High Risk of Death due to Excessive Muscle Exercise” and said, “Hyung, it’s time for you to reduce exercise”. Rain also added a caption that begins with “To my future sister-in-law”. *** When I heard this casting news about RAIN and Kim Ha Neul in a drama, I was very excited because they have never worked together before and yup this is a first but, a long time coming. The plot sounds there's a romance but, hopefully with modern and fresh twists. I said this because I hope this is different from 'A Love to Kill" vibe. With the year half done, the drama is expected 2024. This is a great pairing. Can't wait!

RAIN Warns Future Wife of 'Workout Junky' Kim Jong-kook: "Please Understand…"

 

 

Singer/actor RAIN accused singer/entertainer Kim Jong-kook of being a workout addict. On May 25, RAIN posted a snapshot of his text conversation with Kim Jong-kook. RAIN shared an article titled, 'Can Too Much Strength Training Kill You?' The article was about a study that found that doing weight training more than seven times per week may increase the risk of death. RAIN sent the article with the message, "Brother, it is time for you to cut it down.", to Kim Jong-kook. He was teasing the star who is known for being a workout addict like himself. Kim Jong-kook replied, "LOL, I'd rather die soon." The workout junkies agreed to reduce their training to once a day in the screenshotted conversation.

 

 

 

As he shared their funny chat on Instagram, RAIN wrote a letter to Kim Jong-kook's future wife in the caption. "Please understand him choosing protein over a meal. Keep in mind that when he disappears for two hours every night, he is at the gym. If he says, 'I'll go outside for a while…', on holidays, he'll be with me, lifting weights.", RAIN wrote. Then resumed, "If you get suspicious, thinking he has someone else, that's me. Please understand that holding his hand may feel like grabbing the turtle's shell. Celebrity couple Kim Tae Hee and RAIN once again became the center of attention as the property they purchased is reportedly still empty and that they still have loans to pay.

In a community portal, people are talking about the media reports of the couple's expensive building in Gangnam that has not been bringing any buyers since the day they bought it.

 

Kim Tae Hee and RAIN got the property in June of 2021 for a price of 92 billion KRW, and put it back on sale in the market one year later.

 

 

According to a source, the celebrity couple is selling it for 140 billion KRW.

Even though Kim Tae Hee and RAIN denied that their property was out on the market, some insiders revealed that they reportedly took back the offers when there were no buyers or tenants interested in buying the place.

 

RAIN & Kim Tae Hee's Building Overpriced?

Based on real estate experts, 140 billion KRW is not a realistic cost for average buyers, despite the space being in one of the famous locations in Gangnam.

As of this writing, the building is empty on both the 1st and 2nd floors.

 

 

It has come to the people's attention that the duo's amount of expenses and monthly loan payments that they should be paying is around 200 million KRW per month.

 

This is not the first time Kim Tae Hee and RAIN put their property on the market. To recall, the couple bought and sold various buildings on their own, and they sometimes resell them a few years after their initial purchase.

Both celebrities are preparing for their solo projects starting this 2023.

Meanwhile, Kim Tae Hee is making her long-awaited small screen return this 2023 with the revenge-mystery series "Lies Hidden in My Garden." She will work with award-winning actress Lim Ji Yeon, and this project marks her first drama following "Hi Bye Mama" in 2020.
