Jung Ji-hoon's movie stills was released for ’Uhm Bok-Dong'.

 

'Uhm Bok-Dong' is a movie that will highlight the life of the titular cyclist. Uhm was known for his cycling prowess and his fearlessness during the days of Japanese occupation—he would often compete and win against Japanese racers. Jung Ji-hoon was reported to have spent his intense eagerness to ride half a mile with his bicycle.

 

Based on the true story of famed cyclist Uhm Bok-dong, who became a symbol of pride for Koreans when he defeated Japanese cyclists and won the championship in a bicycle race which took place during the Japanese colonial rule of Korea.   He was born with the skills of riding a bicycle by countless practices, and became the best cyclist in Japan. He fell down three or more times and became a racial hero. At that time, most of the population had flocked to watch the match. Jung Ji Hoon, a Korean superstar played as the”Uhm Bok - dong".

 

Jung Ji-hoon fits in to play the character of a bicycle hero for the first time. In order to create a multi-faceted body of the character, the shoulder width should be wide and the chest is big.  During the time he was practicing, Jung Ji Hoon was on the street early in the morning riding the bicycle through the night, and fought against the heat of more than 39 degrees. The bicycle racing scenes will make the audience more immersed about the drama.

 

'Uhm Bok-Dong' will be released in February this year.

영화 ‘자전차왕 엄복동’에서 엄복동 역을 맡은 정지훈의 현장 스틸이 공개됐다.

 

‘자전차왕 엄복동’은 일제강점기 희망을 잃은 시대에 일본 선수들을 제치고 조선인 최초로 전조선자전차대회 1위를 차지하며 동아시아 전역을 휩쓴 ‘동양 자전차왕’ 엄복동을 소재로 한 작품. 정지훈은 자전차 한 대로 이천만 조선의 희망이 됐던 전설적인 실존 인물 엄복동으로 완벽 변신했다. 정지훈은 자전차로 지구 반 바퀴에 달하는 거리를 달릴 만큼 열의를 쏟은 것으로 전해졌다.

 

일제강점기 시절 신문물의 상징이었던 자전차로 엄복동은 전국에서 열린 각종 대회에서 우승을 차지하며 조선 민중의 영웅으로 떠올랐다. 엄복동은 ‘잘 먹고, 잘 자고, 그리고 많이 타라’는 생활신조를 가지고 있었다. 그는 타고난 체격 조건과 무수한 연습으로 단련된 실력으로 일본 최고의 선수들이 등장했을 때도 주눅 들지 않고 세 바퀴 이상을 떨어뜨리며 불세출의 민족 영웅으로 떠올랐다. 당시 경성 인구 30만 명 중 10만여 명이 경기를 보기 위해 몰려들었다는 기록도 있다. 우리나라 최초의 대중적인 스포츠 스타였던 엄복동을 연기하게 된 정지훈은 실존 인물의 명성에 누가 되지 않기 위해 밤낮 가리지 않는 피나는 훈련을 감행하며 높은 싱크로율을 완성시켰다.

 

공개된 현장 스틸 속 정지훈은 자전차를 처음 접한 물장수 시절부터, 자전차 영웅으로 성장하는 엄복동의 일대기를 표현하고 있다. ‘어깨 폭이 넓고 가슴이 유달리 커서 심폐기능이 뛰어났고 하체가 잘 발달돼 있었다.’(동아일보, 1983년)라고 묘사된 엄복동 선수의 다부진 체격을 만들기 위해 정지훈은 자전거 훈련을 받는 중에도 상하체 운동까지 거르지 않으며 ‘열정부자’의 면모를 보였다. 또한 엄복동만의 전매특허인 ‘엉덩이 들어올리기’ 기술을 익히기 위해 넘어지고 또 넘어지며 팔다리에 상처를 달고 살았다는 후문. 낮에는 39도가 넘는 폭염과 싸우고, 밤에는 칠흑 같은 어둠을 뚫어가며 자전차를 탔던 정지훈이 달린 거리가 지구 반 바퀴에 달하는 2만km를 훌쩍 넘었을 정도였다. 전조선자전차대회가 열렸던 경기장의 420m 트랙을 하루에 약 20바퀴씩 정주행하며 단련한 자전거 실력으로 모든 경주 장면들을 직접 소화해 낸 정지훈뿐만 아니라, 한체대 선수들을 포함해 자전차 선수로 등장했던 모든 배우들의 노력이 더해져 완성된 자전차 경주 장면들은 관객들로 하여금 극에 한층 더 몰입하게 할 것이다.

It is a very important holiday for Koreans and almost everyone travels back to their hometown to be with their families. Rather than abiding by traditional customs, an increasing number of people are using the long holiday as a chance to take a break from the hectic pace of modern life. A large number of Koreans travel abroad now. I wonder where RAIN & family is celebrating this. Generally, almost all retail stores and businesses will close for at least 2 - 3 days during this time, so there's really not much to do other than be at home. The Lunar New Year is a major holiday observed in Asian countries including China, Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Singapore, Japan and Thailand.

 

Pig is not thought to be a smart animal in China. It likes sleeping and eating and becomes fat. Thus it usually features laziness and clumsiness. On the positive side, it behaves itself, has no plan to harm others, and can bring affluence to people. Consequently, it has been regarded as wealth.

가수 겸 배우 비(정지훈)가 MBC '라디오스타'에 뜬다.

'라디오스타' 측은 2월 1일 뉴스엔에 "비, 이범수, 이시언, 신수항이 '라디오스타'에 출연한다"고 밝혔다.

이어 “네 사람의 녹화분은 다음주 방송된다”고 알렸다.

비와 이범수는 27일 개봉을 앞둔 '자전차왕 엄복동'에 함께 출연한 인연이 있다. '자전차왕 엄복동'은 일제강점기 희망을 잃은 시대에 쟁쟁한 일본 선수들을 제치고 조선인 최초로 전조선자전차대회 1위를 차지하며 동아시아 전역을 휩쓴 ‘동양 자전차왕’ 엄복동을 소재로 한 작품이다.

이외에도 비와 이시언은 연예계 소문난 절친 사이라 함께 출연한 토크쇼에서 어떤 에피소드를 공개할지 기대가 쏠리고 있다.

Singer and actor Rain (Jung Ji Hoon) will appear on MBC Radio Star.

Radio Star said on February 1, "Rain, Lee Beom-soo, Lee Si-eon, and Shin Soo-hang appear on 'Radio Star'."

"Four people's recordings will be broadcast next week."

Rain and Lee Beom-soo have a cooperation that will appear on the 27th, which is about to be unveiled. It is a work of 'The Cyclist King, Uhm Bok Dong', who was the first Korean player to win the championship title and won the championship title in the era when he lost hope in the Japanese colonial period.
