tomorrows tuesday.. that means.. the bi-ers that went to the concert will be back home sharing with us their stories and pics.. CANT WAIT!

Choice Cut : For those who are not caught up in the Korean craze, you'd probably give this album a miss, It's Raining is purely for K-pop fans only.

Ironically hailed as the Michael Jackson of Korea, Rain has scored huge hits across the K-pop infested world with a look and sound that owe a lot to Usher. His third offering, It's Raining, is the kind of album that has one song called "I Love You" and another called "But I Love You."

Despite having sleek dance moves as a performer, Rain's music lacks originality and excitement. The monotonous R&B style also makes it hard to differentiate the tracks.

In addition, Rain's sensitive new-age male persona has been overtly displayed in It's Raining. One can't help cringing to cheesy lyrics like "Girl, I'm ooh ooh ooh ooh, I'm crying for you" and "Can't you see that it's me girl? Baby, it's me you're looking for." Overall, It's Raining is far too long on gentle, faceless crooning about the usual encounter of opposite sexes and an unnamed girl who makes him weep.

That said, Asian singers have failed trying to break the lucrative U.S. market for the longest time. The next contender is none other than Rain who attempts to conquer America. In the end, artists like CoCo Lee, Utada Hikaru, Ho Yeow Sun, and Rain can always wiggle their way back to their die-hard Asian fans.

how can she be so harsh abt him? i mean no matter how bad she tink he is, she shd recognise his efforts. shd not condemn him lyk this. Not only towards Bi, i tink we shd recognise all efforts made by Asian artists to break into the US market. they r tryin to put asian music on the map. we shd gif them credit!

yeah, tell me about it..... <_< I don't know what they mean, all I know and care about is that Rain is making it big, and his effort is PRICELESSS!!!!....I mean, who doesn't like a guy who puts in his hard work and effort right? besides, he's sexy too, which only adds on to all the other 10098765 good things he's got!!.... :rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: you know what I mean....

Angelina Yeo; sounds like an asian surname to me.

And her review is very critical, not to mention cynical.

Couldn't agree more Ayu! The last paragraph is what really pissed me off. The way she just wrote off Asian stars' efforts to make it in US are just plain crappy.

wat can her mere review do 2 outdo us??? she's the one who's trying hard..

in fact Bi doesn;t haf to try hard..he has already surpassed that!!

the 4/10...throw in2 the dustbin... cos the BI FAMILY stresses 10/10!!!!

Haha.. of course she's entitled to her opinion.

But her opinion is influencing the reader of the article or review.

A person who hasnt listened or been exposed to ji hun's music would immediately write him off as another one of those wannabes; which he isnt.

So, just cut the man some slack already.

Anyways, to hell with the review! bah!
