For Your Viewing Pleasure: On White

 

Welcome back to another installment of For Your Viewing Pleasure, where we take time out of the week to curate a set of photos from the K-pop landscape.

 

White might seem like a boring choice, or even a colour some might avoid because of the inconvenience it brings. White items are easily stained and often brings out an image of overwhelming innocence. Those going for an edgier look might not seek white. However, the colour proves to be far more versatile, as long as one knows how to change it up with a variety of materials, textures, and accessories.

 

Lee Sung-kyung‘s white denim jacket clearer brings out personality, whereas Rain and Lee Ha-nui both opt for tight-fitting basic white tops to allure. Going beyond the conventional notions of purity that comes with the colour white, this selection of photos express the diversity that white can bring if one has the imagination to tap on.

I watched it on KBS World, but they only aired 65mins of the show and there was no Rain :(

Hi hnfragile, ye, I wonder why.................. the show was edited & cut short. ^_^

***Lucky this IGier who's able to have a picture with RAIN. She said in the message that RAIN was with his Manager & she asked him if she could take a photo with RAIN  but he said sorry in a nice way.  RAIN heard it & said it's OK & said yes.  :P

9 years ago today, Rain released the special album Back To The Basic. One number in that album, Love Song, marks one of his many magic and trademark dances.

Rain Vietnam fan club announces that Rain is listed in the line up for Vietnam - Korea Friendship concert in Hanoi on June 1st (English follows the Vietnamese part). Rumour is the line up includes Rain, MAMAMOO, SF9, Pentagon, N.Flying. Press conference for the concert is expected on 15 April and ticketing information should be available after that. *** RAIN will have a fan meeting on June 7/8 in Hard Rock Casino Vancouver -Molson Canadian Theatre ((2800 United Blvd. Coquitlam) at 7PM . This is RAIN's first visit to Vancouver! Ticket sales will be available through “Ticketmaster” from noon on April 19, and VIP ticket buyers will be able to take pictures with RAIN after the show.

*** IDK that there's Fluffy Donuts in Korea in case he's in Korea during this sighting. -  I've tried their donuts when I was in California. It was closer to where I stayed. It's always been an excellent place for donuts! It was a chilly Saturday morning when I visited the place. Fluffy Donuts made my day because they serve fun donuts!! By "fun" I mean donuts with cereal on top (Fruity Pebbles, and Oreos!)  They look fantastic and have unique flavors. In case you are more of a traditionalist, they still do offer the usual raised, cake, jelly-filled, sprinkle, glaze, donut holes, etc. Great place! My aunts said that they regularly make interesting new donuts. The donuts taste delicious. I tried their donut with strawberry glaze and fruity pebbles.  Overall, not greasy and tasted fresh! However, one of my aunts also had her blueberry old fashioned donut and it was FANTASTIC! The donuts are super amazing (not too overly sweet, a problem I have with donuts sometimes). I saw they have several other menu items like Ham and Cheese Croissant. I'm a donut freak. I definitely enjoyed my visit.

 

The poster saw RAIN that he was at Fluffy donut coffee shop a few days ago and signed an autograph for the lady working there. He also had a bag of take away of the very delicious donut.

Rain will visit Taiwan in early May for the brand to showcase at the Taipei Jewelry Show

It's reported on April 22, 2019 that Korean star Rain will visit Taiwan in early May. This time he will be invited by a high-end jewellery brand in New York to participate in The Four Seasons Tiffany High Jewellery Show on May 3. 

 

 

When Rain debuted, he was most famous for the height of his dancing skill. Soon after, he began touring concerts in China, the United States, Japan, and Thailand. He became the star of the world, and he was twice selected as the American magazine of Time as The Most Influential People in the world.

 

 

Rain who speaks Korean, Japanese, and English has a unique low-profile magnetic voice. His song "It's Raining" has become a classic of long-time singers of all Asian fans. In the rankings, the status of the song in the music scene is difficult to surpass.

 

 

In addition to his outstanding performance on the stage, Rain's acting ability in the drama "Full House" also won him the Best Actor Award at the KBS Acting Awards in 2004, thus opening his movie career across Asia. With all his famous performances, Rain was further recognized to Hollywood, and he got his first lead role in the movie "Ninja Assassin".

 

 

For singing and acting performance of both careers, Rain has always been determined to make unwavering determinations and has made considerable efforts to prove his strength and express approval.
