i'm so happy that YEH has slowly started to be visible in korean ent again. I miss her so much. Thank you for sharing the end sub of house detox. i truly enjoyed watching it.

i hope that this is a start of great things to come for her. YEH is truly a one of a kind star. I have never supported any k actor after her because I can't find the same brightness, sincerity, and star quality with them. True that there are more stars who are much much successful than her but none i could find with depth as YEH.

I don't want to bring up old wounds because God knows YEH has had so much to endure with all the antis, negative press, and detractors but sometimes I wonder if someone deliberately orchestrated her downfall. Tbh until now I can't figure what she did that was so wrong for her to be hated.

Anyway just happy that YEH is back and this thread is still alive.

YEH has posted a new video in YT. I'm really glad that I can watch her eveey week. Hopefully in the coming days someone can sub hee videos. I've seen a lot of comments in her yt about it which just shows that she still has international fans waiting for her.

Really really praying that she gets a comeback one she so much deserves. Plus I really miss her in dramas. Netflix doesn't have her whole filmography yet so I keep rewatching CP and Lie to Me.

Hi All, I need to talk to someone about Yoon Eun Hye. After re-watching Goong and Coffee Prince this year I became so immersed in her and I don't think it's healthy anymore lol. I don't post RickRoll'D like this but a girl gotta get this out of her system. :)

Btw I appreciated Goong much more now after my nth rewatch. It just has everything you could want in a drama...escapism at its finest. Truly is a classic and the songs are just daebak! They don't make dramas like Goong anymore.

Members of the cast are getting together 13 years after the classic Korean drama wrapped up

The cast of the 2007 Korean drama Coffee Prince is reuniting for a special documentary.

On Tuesday, September 15, MBCLife shared a teaser of the stars – Gong Yoo, Yoon Eun-hye, Lee Sun-gyun, Lee Jae-wook, Kim Dong-wook, and Chae Jung-an – returning to two of the drama's most famous filming locations.

The two coffee shops featured in the drama have become famous tourist attractions since the show wrapped up 13 years ago.

Most members of the cast have also gone on to become big names in Korean TV and film, with Gong Yoo starring in Goblin and Train to Busan, and Lee Sun-gyun starring in the Oscar-winning Parasite.

Airing dates of ‘Coffee Prince’ documentary revealed

The hit 2007 Korean drama “Coffee Prince” is getting some sort of a reboot through a documentary that will see the cast reunite after 13 years.

Gong Yoo and Yoon Eun-hye will join co-stars Kim Dong-wook, Lee Sun-gyun, Kim Jae-wook and Chae Jung-an for the TV documentary.

According to MBC, the documentary was filmed in the drama’s two iconic Seoul locations: a coffee shop in the Hongdae area, which was used as the coffee shop in the drama, and the Sanmotoonge Cafe in Jongno, which served as Lee Sun-gyun’s house.

“Coffee Prince” is a 17-episode drama that aired in South Korea from July to August 2007. It became popular and drew its highest nationwide Nielsen Korea rating of 27.8 percent for its last episode. The drama also became popular in Asia including the Philippines where the original was aired in 2008 and a remake was released in 2012.

The “Coffee Prince” special will air on MBC’s “Youth Documentary 20, Again” in two parts: Sept. 24 and Oct. 1 at 10:40 p.m. Korea time.
“In fact, although they are stars who are rarely seen other than in dramas and movies, they are all willing to join and share that getting together with the cast of ‘Coffee Prince’ is an exception,” said MBC, according to MyDaily.

MBC added, “Initially, after conducting personal interviews, the cast members watched each other’s recording in the ‘untact’ form and expressed support as well as empathy for this. In fact, the shooting period overlapped social distancing practice due to the COVID-19 pandemic, so we weren’t sure whether the meeting would be made possible or not. However, thanks to the support of two coffee shops located in Seogyo Ward and Buam Ward, which were once the filming locations of ‘Coffee Prince,’ a surprise and thrilling encounter happened,” the Korean TV station said.

The six stars revealed stories about their youth, watched scenes of “Coffee Prince” together and shared their behind-the-scenes stories.

“Coffee Prince” brought fame and awards to the cast. At the 2007 MBC Drama Awards, Yoon Eunh-hye and Gong Yoo took home acting awards. Yoon Eunh-hye also won best actress for TV at the 44th Baeksang Arts Awards and “Coffee Prince” won best drama at the 20th Korea PD Awards.

'Coffee Prince' stars reunite in old set for documentary

Published September 16, 2020 9:52am

That's because it's the exact same set from the classic K-drama "Coffee Prince." Even better: those are the exact same actors that won our hearts all the way back in 2007.

After 13 years, the beloved cast of "Coffee Prince" are reuniting for a documentary to talk about what it was like to work on the show all those years ago.

MBCLife released the teaser of the upcoming project, and it featured Gong Yoo, Yoon Eun-hye, Lee Sun-gyun, Lee Jae-wook, Kim Dong-wook, and Chae Jung-an returning to the two iconic coffee shops from the drama series.

Last month, Soompi reported that MBC confirmed that the documentary project was in the works.

"Coffee Prince" is about coffee shop owner Choi Han-kyul (Gong Yoo) who hires a hardworking young woman named Go Eun-Chan (Yoon Eun-hye), thinking that she's a guy. Han-kyul ends up having an emotional crisis as he develops feelings for his employee, all the while trying to prove he can take over his family's coffee business.

"Coffee Prince" is currently streaming on Netflix. —JCB, GMA News

Yoon Eun Hye’s Vlog Reveals Set Of “Coffee Prince” 13 Year Reunion Documentary

Check out Yoon Eun Hye’s vlog for a sneak peek of the Coffee Prince documentary.

Actress Yoon Eun Hye shared a vlog on her YouTube channel yesterday titled, “Coffee Prince 13 Year Reunion?! Rainy Day Vlog”.

In her vlog, Yoon Eun Hye visits the cafe where Coffee Prince was filmed and says, “I’m going to see Gong Yoo ‘oppa’ today too, but he doesn’t know about it. They told me it’s a secret. I’m excited to see him. I’m actually really excited about seeing Choi Han Gyul again”. She clearly misses Coffee Prince just as much as we do.

Yoon Eun Hye walks around the cafe to look at the places where she filmed the kiss scene and the painting scene. The areas shown in her vlog bring back memories of Coffee Prince and the memories from the year it aired. It’s surprising to think it’s been 13 years already because Yoon Eun Hye looks exactly the same, sweet and beautiful.

It was apparent that fans had been waiting for an update like this from the comments explaining they watched Coffee Prince every summer and thanking Yoon Eun Hye for the good memories.

The documentary will feature exclusive interviews of the Coffee Prince family. There was a leak saying a few actors even cried during the filming of the documentary! You do not want to miss this documentary.

Hello, everyone!

I've been hype about the Coffee Prince Reunion and see that many others are too.  I'm happy to see how excited she is with the reunion.  She used to seem a bit regretful before for starring in such a great show but now, she seems really happy.  I hope that reminiscing will help her become happier and love acting again.  :hooray2:

I also think that opening up a youtube channel was good for her.  She seems happier and more confident.  Hopefully it'll help her see that she still has many fans who are waiting for her.  Maybe it'll help her choose a project soon...
