Kim Ki Bang lavishes praise on ‘Heart to Heart’ co-star Ahn So Hee

Actor Kim Ki Bang recently sat down for an interview where he talked about his recent tvN drama ‘Heart to Heart,’ and lavished praise on his co-star, Ahn So Hee.

When the topic came to his co-star Ahn So Hee, Kim Ki Bang had nothing but praise for her, “She is really open as an actress,” and continued, “So Hee is actually really awkward around people that she is not close with. And we still talk formally even now. But you can look at it as another form of interaction in a comfortable manner.”

The actor expressed, “After the script reading session ended, I asked if she felt that she was thick-skinned. She thought for a moment, before expressing that she was indeed like that on stage. I feel that it’s the same for her when it comes to filming. When the cameras start rolling, she will immediately get into character, and do a great job with her role. I was really astounded by her transformation.”

Kim Ki Bang continued, “There was some words on the script that wasn’t spoken often during our script reading session, so I gave her advice on how to approach it. Usually, one would be unable to execute perfectly because of the lengthy lines and nervousness, but So Hee was able to do it perfectly almost instantly. I wondered to myself then that this person was someone who is able to perform in a relaxed manner regardless of situation, and she was also really smart.”

Finally, the actor showed support for So Hee by saying, “Ahn So Hee often cracks jokes. Although she looks kind of stern at first glance, she is actually a joker at heart. She is someone who’s adorable and amazing at the same time. I feel that although she looks cool while performing on stage, she will often meet viewers through television, and on the big screen moving forward.”

Kim Ki Bang played Detective Yang in ‘Heart to Heart’ which ended its run on February 28th, and won much love for his superb portrayal of a supporting character.

What Kim KiBang said of Sohee is pretty much what people close to her especially her jype mates have described of her personality. She is adorable :x

Great that a fellow co-star and knetz in general are praising her acting/screen presence. I love love Ko Sero in 'Heart to Heart'. Most of the people who watched the drama in the beginning were either indifferent to the character or they thought Sero was not needed altogether in the story but by the end of it people are loving Sero. I have to say that Sohee brought a certain charm to Sero. In my opinion it is a great first drama project that she's chosen and I'm hoping to see more of An Sohee in another project soon.
