was played by hwangbo! ..... it would be sooooo cool.

it would be sooooooo perfect. at least if hyunjoong gives up wgm for this.... we wont miss themhaha

I think shizuka toudou and hwangbo's personality has a lot of similarities (course they are different but yea)

But I doubt it will happen *sigh*

actually in the drama shizuka only comes out in like 10 scenes at most throughout the whole series truthfully.... (in the japanese version at least)

she doesn't come out a lot but plays a pretty important role.

isn't Go Ara a little too pretty to play Makino. Makino's supposed to look nice in a very ordinary way. (I think Inoue Mao was perfect, she looked charismatic but she still looked...ordinary)

Ara is pretty because of her unusual features --- gray eyes and a (super) tiny face. They should get a typical girl we'd see around who'd still look nice. fresh face for makino~

i guess domoyoji should be someone a bit more wellknown. hyunjoong as rui is (like many have said) a complete surprise for me. i was hoping for JGS. i just hope the gangster's son and tea dude (lol wow i forgot their names =P) are NEW FACES. as in NEW HOTTIES! cuz their roles arent really that big so newbies should be given a chance. also this drama is PERFECT for new faces. its fangirl targeted therefore perfect. but who knows.

SS501 leader Kim Hyun-joong is set to star as the F4 member Hanazawa Rui in the Korean version of the popular Japanese manga and drama Hana Yori Dango (aka Boys Over Flowers). The Korean version of the drama is scheduled to be broadcast on KBS 2TV in early 2009. The Korean name for Rui has not been set yet.

This will be the third time the Japanese manga will be turned into a drama series.

casting for the remaining 3 members of F4 have yet to be finalized. Singer Hwangbo will also star.

According to the papers, Kim Hyun-joong is not confirmed yet. An official of DSP Enterainment (manages SS501) said that it is not finalized yet.
