Storyline :

There have been numerous scenarios reflecting sacrificing life-styles of mothers, in comparison to fathers'. Let's talk about our fathers' stories of current time; a father who endures many hardships and servilities for his family's continuous of well-being, a father who sacrifices his time and efforts to make the most earnings for his children to have a chance of receiving better education, a father who's not recognized and being isolated in his family regardless of all his struggles in his lonely battlefield of work, a father who choose the family's betterment instead of his own by meeting the need of the family members instead of his...

Despite the efforts, our lonely father is losing his status and presence in the family and is neglected by his people of family. aha! Kim Sung Soo , the lead in this drama! good to see him leading... he acted fairly good by often casted the 2nd lead.. :rolleyes:

Lee Tae Ran's in this? ^___^

I really loved her in Infamous Chil Sisters.

Kim Sung Soo is a pretty good actor too. He's finally leading in a drama, where in Full House and Bad Love he was secondary.

I'll watch a few episodes of this when it comes out to see if i like it.

Wow, can't wait to watch KSS's next drama. He's one of my favorite actors. He's sexy & HOT! It's been a while since BL & this time he's the male lead. It’s interesting to see & very curious what's the story all about involving the children. Looking forward to see some on-set pix soon when the filming starts.

YAY. Kim Sung Soo and Lee Tae Ran!! Hong Ah Reum was the young Insoon in Insoon is Pretty! The girl has much potential, I'm looking foward to seeing her too. Seasoned veterans like Park In Hwan and Na Moon Hee would be interesting to watch ... I still remember how funny they were in Daughters-in-Law :)

Apparently this drama focuses on paternal love? Would gladly appreciate it if someone can help translate.

KBS 후속 주말극 ‘김성수-이태란-지현우’ 캐스팅 확정

‘엄마가 뿔났다’ 후속으로 방영 예정인 KBS2TV 주말연속극 <내사랑 금지옥엽(가제, 극본 박현주, 연출 이응진)>이 캐스팅을 확정하고 7월 초 첫 촬영에 돌입한다.

# 세상의 모든 아버지를 위한, 고개숙인 아빠들을 대변하는 드라마

<내 사랑 금지옥엽>은 두 친구 사이에 일어난 과거의 충격적인 사건으로 인해 두가정이 파탄이 난 채 나름 힘겨운 삶을 살았으나, 삼십 년후 두 친구의 아들과 딸이 연인으로 만나면서 상처와 오해를 사랑의 힘으로 극복하고 화해를 이끌어내는 이야기를 다룰 예정이다.

김성수는 전직 싱어송라이터, 왕년의 스타였던 전설(이인호) 역을 맡아 연기한다. 그리고 전설과 원수에서 사랑하는 사이로 변해가며 호흡을 맞출 이태란은 극 중 연애낙제생이자 라디오PD인 장인호 역을 맡아 분한다.

이 외 지현우가 바람둥이 치과의사로, 윤혜영이 백마병에 걸린 노처녀 방송작가로, 박해미가 왕비병에 걸린 건축교수로 등장할 예정이며, 박인환, 나문희 등 베테랑 연기자들이 출연할 예정이다.

2008년 하반기 주말 안방극장을 강타할 <내사랑 금지옥엽>은 8월 말 KBS2TV 방송 예정이다.

탤런트 김성수와 이태란이 KBS 2TV 새 주말드라마의 주연으로 캐스팅됐다.

두 사람은 '엄마가 뿔났다' 후속으로 8월 말부터 방송될 예정인 '금지옥엽'(가제, 극본 박현주, 연출 이응진)에서 호흡을 맞춘다.

'금지옥엽'은 친구 사이에 일어난 충격적인 사건으로 힘겨운 삶을 살던 두 가정의 아들과 딸이 연인으로 만나면서 사랑의 힘으로 상처를 극복하는 과정을 그린 드라마.

김성수는 전설이라는 이름으로 활동한 전직 싱어송라이터 이인호 역으로 출연한다. 사업실패로 자살한 아버지에 대한 원망을 안고 있으며 아내의 불륜으로 이혼한 뒤 아들과 단 둘이 살아간다.

이태란은 방송국 라디오 PD 장인호 역을 맡았다. 라디오 DJ로 활동하게 된 이인호에게 사랑을 느끼고 그를 위해 PD 직을 그만 두면서 헌신하는 역할이다.

LTR as radio deejay turned producer? Yah! Can't wait to see her act as one dynamic one. What's more: paired up with super hot KSS?!?! I've always admired his acting since Full House and Stain Glass!

Alternative title is My Love...Precious Child <내사랑 금지옥엽 (金枝玉葉)>

I love the thought of seeing KSS in another drama, especially with Lee Tae Ran. I looked up the Chinese definition of the saying "金枝玉葉" the title of this drama.

金子般的树枝，玉一般的树叶。①形容枝繁叶茂的娇美花枝。②比喻出身高贵的帝王后代。亦作“玉叶金枝”。

It means branches made of gold and leaves made of jade which usually refers to the royal offsprings or children of the privileged.

Lee Tae Ran is my favourite korean actress ....and Kim Sung Soo is my favoutite korean actor.

Can't believe that they are cast as lovers in a drama.....and on KBS so i can watch it on KBS World.

Just can't wait......counting down the days to episod 1.
