What's The Difference Between Hand Cream, Foot Cream, & Body Lotion?

Except for the fact that hand cream is meant to be applied on the hands, foot cream is meant to be applied on the foot and so on, what's the difference? The only difference I know of is that the thickness varies (for example, foot cream is thicker than body lotion) but that doesn't affect how the cream or lotion works because it's just more or less water added to the mixture. So are there extra ingredients in the foot, hand, or body lotions that's meant for it to be applied only in that specific area? Or is this simply a marketing technique to make consumers buy more of their line of products?

personally i do think it's a marketing scheme

for the most part, because i have tried out some other

foot cream stuff for my hands, and it does a pretty good job

for it~ :)

maybe since feet tend to be somewhat harder to moisturize, it's thicker ?

i think the only difference is the thickness o__o

go read the lotion labels for ingrediants ? xD

it differs in content i must say...

every single product has a purpose and has a special content for a certain or targeted problem or target market...

just like our doctors... there is a pediatrician, ob-gyne, surgeon, etc... CHEERS

Guest aeroshaastranger :)

there is a diff.

hand foot and body require diff level of moisture (:

our hand and food needs more moisture because we use our hands v often and it can get dry esp in aircon places.

so yeah (:

hmm i think theres a difference

foot creams a lot thicker.... cos the foot tends to be pretty dry/crack (thick skinned)

body cream i think thats just general... can use ne where on the bodi....

face cream tends to be not as thick... becasue sometimes the cream can be too rich for the skin... and casues these white bumps to come up...

similar thing to eye cream as well....

i don't think its a Scheme..

every part of your body is different..like certain parts of your body (skin's feeling/skin's thickness etc)..

like ur face gets pores, does that mean ur feet gets pores too? (i wonder)

it's just like asking, why don't you use hand soap, for your body..

Face Lotion- isn't as thick and is a smaller dosage of moisture(?) ( idon't know how to explain)

Body Lotion- General body lotion is a 'medium dosage'

Feet and Hands - 'Higher Dosage'

The higher the 'dosage' is the heavier the cream is an it's higher in % of ing.

Yeah ../ that's the only way I can explain it kinda sorta. Don't mine me it's like 5AM ///
