Guest sungaaah Posted July 15, 2006 Posted July 15, 2006 man ... im beyond frustrated .. i followed the steps and also my dad tried as well to put korean on my account, but the bars not showing up at all. but the weird thing is my dads account on my laptop has it, so why wouldnt it work on mine? man ...

Guest steffie Posted August 1, 2006 Posted August 1, 2006 i have the font Batang and when i use microsoft word, i just insert Symbol and you'll see the korean characters there... i have no choice but to use brute force too since i don't have my xp office installer...
Guest advent.shk Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 i tried this a while ago and it didnt work =(. It kept switching back to the english and wouldnt type in korean when it did stay in korean.
Guest YELL;OH Posted August 3, 2006 Posted August 3, 2006 to just type in korean, go to [download.com] and look up [AsianSuite]. there's a 6O day trial, or you can buy it~ but if you want to change your whole computer into korean... err you might want to buy a different program.

I have Windows XP Professional, but I don't have its CD. I only have the Home Edition one, and it does have the needed files. Can I install them from there?

If you have an american (i guess?) keyboard with korean installed on it then, to get the things like ⓑⓒ you switch to korean font and press the d(ㅇ) key and then while it's still highlighted you push the 'ctrl' button on the right side of the keyboard. for the stars you push a(ㅁ) and then ctrl.. like all the keys on the left side have little cool things if you press it and the ctrl key ^^

Guest VioletSauce Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 how do you do this on a mac? lol System Preferences->International->Input Menu Select languages you want. Then click the Flag in the top right corner and select the language you want to type in.
