a m a r a n t h Posted March 31, 2010 Posted March 31, 2010 Anyone have a solution: On one of my laptops that's on windows xp, I've already had east asian languages installed, added all the languages in my language bar, I can type/write/read on my browser/msword but itunes has ONLY the Korean showing up as boxes and in my documents also ONLY Korean shows up as boxes. Chinese and Japanese shows up fine everywhere... Anyone have idea what's going on? Lol.
Guest clarie91s Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 The Korean keyboard layout is different than in English. To type out Lee Suk Hoon, you would have to type: D+L (ㅇ+ㅣ) to make 이 = Lee T+J+R (ㅅ+ㅓ+ㄱ) to make 석 = Suk G+N+S (ㅎ+ㅜ+ㄴ) to make 훈 = Hoon I think there was picture of the keyboard layout on this thread. Also, I posted a list of what letter goes with which hangeul character. What key do I press to type the next character without there being a space? Eg. 이석훈 and not 이 석 훈 What key do I press to type the next character without there being a space? Eg. 이석훈 and not 이 석 훈 It's ok. I got it.

theninthtrack Posted May 6, 2010 Posted May 6, 2010 If someone can't or doesn't want to change the keyboard back and forth in hangul and roman alphabet, here's a site that does the same, except you don't need to have anything installed or changed: http://people.cs.uchicago.edu/~wchae/kor/nabi.html Just type in the lower box. It works like a charm :P
