Guest woei Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 i have sony w850i n i love it....seriously i think sony makes better music phone than nokia....
kuroxkitsuneX3 Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 Your absolutley right. I think there are other phones that have better music players. Im actually looking a Nokia phone that is a music phone and its appealing to me more than ever right now. Im also journeying through Samsung phones too. I guess I can find better phones that are not just from Sony. Thanks for somehow shifting my mind to other phones besides Sony Ericsson. Lol, you're welcome. XD Anyways, the choice of W910i or the Nokia 5610 all depends on how much music your planning to put on and how much you like the phone. The Nokia 5610's ability to use MicroSD up to 4 GB is very tempting especially if you don't have another music device. However I would suggest that if the Nokia 5610 is coming out with T-mobile to go to the store and ask if you can see a real model. Mess around with it a bit and get a feel for it. You may have to play around with the W910i's baby sister w580i at the store. Keep in mind that the W910i may feel totally different but you don't have the phone available to try it so yeah. As for the 300 bucks thing, I really don't know sorry. :/
Guest smashy Posted May 13, 2008 Posted May 13, 2008 A couple of my friends have the W910i and i find the navigation and music player to be good in general, my only problem with it is that the headphone adaptor plugin is on the side whereas on most of their other phones its been on the bottom. If you wanted a better camera and some, i think are improvements, to the functions and navigation in the SE phone you could always wait for the W760i (its on the SE website already).
Guest forgottenmemories Posted May 14, 2008 Posted May 14, 2008 I also have the K550i right now, same exact problem as you. The phone scratches so easily it drives me nuts! This is totally off-topic but can you really send it to Sony and haev them fix up the scratches? I'm really curious because I love this phone, but I can't stand the scratches anymore!

I really dont think so. Because you can only send the phone if there is "Technical problems" about it. I really dont think they can fix the scratches on our phone let alone other phones. The only reason why I have a reason to send it is because when I plug in the earphones, it doesnt really work, and plus the whole left side of the phone seems to be disabled. Im worried however that my warranty might be voided cause of the scratch and dents itself thinking that I must have dropped it. But I really dont think you can send it because of the marks. To me it doesnt matter because Im getting a new phone. Lol, you're welcome. I wonder how much it will be though when it comes out, plus if it does come out for T-Mobile, other people might start to have it, then I would be like But I dont really mind, just if not alot of people get it like the Nokia 5300 who ALOT of people have lol. And yeah, the 4gb is what I want. Im really confused because at the same time I also prefer the way the interface looks because the The Nokia's 5610 main menu and ect sucks. Its not appealing. Unlike Sony Ericssons Nice Flash lite theme and ect. I think, if the Nokia 5610 comes out and is MORE than 300 bucks, I might as well get the Sony. But if the Nokia is about less than 250, I might be getting that one instead.

Cellphone companies have been known to change specs on new phones. For example compare the original LG Shine with the LG Shine of AT&T. As for the Nokia's popularity, it really depends on people's needs and most people get the cheapest available with the plan (except for those who want smart phones and sidekicks). Also how readily it's available. Some places may get it sooner than others.

Hey, thanks for the reviews, I kind sometimes second thoughts when people leave negative feedbacks on the phones, but everybody has their own different opinion. Like you said, I managed to get a hold and feel the Noka5610 in action. My personal opinion is that it feels a bit cheap. It doesnt really pleases me by the way it looks and how its handled. I also had time to momentarily think of how the dust particles can build up at the switching panel button. So I have made my FINAL decesion, that is to say, I really really want to W910. I also found out that it CAN also have 4gb memory stick! Lol. Im so happy, I always wanted to choose this. Thanks for all your opinions to you and all the people who responded here....now a question. What color should I get? I didnt added white because Im very scared to own one cause I might be jacking it up like what I did to the K550.
Guest peachyogurt Posted May 19, 2008 Posted May 19, 2008 hey you are so lucky! i have the nokia 5300 and it's a great phone but i'm def getting the w910 next year and once i save up the money. hmm honestly i think the red looks best (only if it's a dark red color...bright red looks really cheap) but if i were me i'd pick the black one because i like understated things...so depends on your personality. i don't really like the brown one... i have to say though..i saw the white one and it's really pretty! maybe get a clear case for it?

I like the red one but maybe I'm biased because I like the color red. ^^'' lol And also red is different, most people would get black. If you really like the white one like someone said above look for a case for it! On ebay they have tons of accessories for different phones. Hope you have fun with your new phone! Oh, and when you get it, why don't you give a review to help others who are looking for a phone. :]
