Guest DarkMagician
The first Picture is NOT a legit Windows application, nor is the 3rd. The "BDE" program is obviously a virus. The icon doesn't seem to be the same as the others. You seem to have Spysweeper, Do a full scan with it. Or Try adaware.
butterflyeffect
Yeah, I've been scanning with Spysweeper and Symantec antivirus like the whole day and I just downloaded and scanned with Adaware as well. It's not doing anything for me. :\

It's not doing anything for me. :\ Ok last resort time. Try and remember the date before opening the link System Restore One of the many features that Microsoft included with Windows XP that is actually useful! So, when you know you did something stupid or your computer did the stupid thing on its own, run system restore and restore to the most recent point. Start->Programs->Accessories->System Tools-> System Restore Click restore my computer to an earlier point, hit next, choose the date, let the computer restart itself and eventually work again. Note: System restore fixes .exe .dll and some other files that were changed between that point and now. Your pictures, documents, media are not restored or touched... so if its a fun spyware that screwed it up, it wont fix it.
butterflyeffect
Actually, I tried that earlier today and when my computer restarted it said my computer couldn't be restored. So if the problem is I'm assuming the "BDE" program, how would I go about to remove it?
Guest fobsquad
BDE administrator is not the problem. although you don't need it, it isnot the virus nor trojan. if you go to add/remove programs, you should one(or two) programs installed, that shouldn't be: it should be called 180search, or something like that it could be named any search program thatlooks conspicoius. either way, it should be a program that you don't remember installing. anyway, uninstall whatever program(s) they are. if you're unsure, just list the programs you're unsure about. butterflyeffect
There aren't anything that looks suspicious though. I thought it might have something to do with my being unable to access my task manager so I did the Regedit but it just changed back and I still can't access it. I don't know what the problem is either since my antivirus/spyware programs and system restore can't seem to fix it. :\
Guest o0hsvinqieee
i'm having the same problem too and my friend -.- nothing seems to work to get rid of this virus. ><
Guest fobsquad
either way, the virus/trojan requires internet to work. you can try restarting in safe mode (without networking) and then doing a virus scan from there. http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid...4378&page=2 for advanced removal, if you know how to use hijackthis. Guest fobsquad
I think for now it's safe to say I fixed all my problems except for my desktop background. is it like hijacked or something? lol no hijackthis.exe is a program people use to help clean their computer of malware. it helps identifies what's running in your startup, services, or browser objects. generally complicated...
