Ko So-young Supports Single Moms in TV Documentary

Actress Ko So-young has set out to support single moms through MBC special documentary.
Ko will star in MBC’s special documentary “Dream of Mother” (translated title), slated to hit air on Thursday 6:20 p.m. in Korea time, the channel said on Tuesday.
The actress, who had made continuous donation to single moms and to-be-adoptees after married with actor Jang Dong-gun in 2010, volunteered at a care center and became a good mentor of single mothers this August.
“I came to know that single moms are just like me who still has dream as an actress and designer even after becoming a mom,” The mother of one son said, “It feels sorry that they became mothers in such young ages but it is fairly admirable and amazing to raise a baby.”
The documentary about single moms’ struggle and effort to be good mothers is directed by filmmaker Shin Soo-won of award-winning film “Pluto.”

Ko So-young takes on motherly role

Actress Ko So-young will be on the small screen tonight when a documentary she starred in airs on MBC.
The documentary, “Dreams of Mothers,” is co-produced by Community Chest of Korea, and tells stories of single mothers trying to provide the best lives for their babies. 
In the documentary the actress, who has been helping single mothers and children waiting to be adopted, became a mentor for those single mothers who strive to be more independent. 
“As I still have dreams as an actress or a designer after I became a mother, I have learned that other single mothers who are raising a child on their own are also in the same place,” said Ko. 
“I sometimes feel my heart aching to see many women becoming mothers at an early age, but I think it is great that they have decided to raise the child.”
Ko went grocery shopping with the other moms to make food for babies and shared her own tips on child care. 
The program will air at 6:20 p.m. today.

In the past, Hyori has held charity bazaars to raise money for a good cause, and she has also donated her valuables to auctions. Last month, she donated her personal items to raise money and help protect the abandoned animals in Korea.

As the news that the second birth of the actors Jang Dong-Geon and Go So-Young couple is getting imminent became spread, it is attracting lots of interests from lots of people.
On last 20th, the official from SM C&C, Jang Dong-Geon's management company, said "at the end of February, Jang Dong-Geon and Go So-Young couple's child will be born, so two actors are very much in joy. It is heard that the second child is a daughter." The official continued, "Go So-Young, who is almost due to give birth, is preparing well to give a birth now, and Jang Dong-Geon is also taking a good care of Go So-Young frequently, as doing the end shooting of 'Crying Man'."
For now, Go So-Young is known to be near the end of pregnancy, and is doing maternal impressions and preparations for childbirth.
Meanwhile, Go So-Young and Jang Dong-Geon got married on last 2010 May 2nd and gave birth to the first son, Jun-Hyuk, on October of the same year.

The child. a girl, was born at a hospital in Seoul around 10AM. A representative for Go So Young told the press, “Mother and child are both healthy. Jang Dong Gun had been overseas but came back to Korea in time for the birth. He was beside her the entire time.”
Jang Dong Gun and Go So Young married in 2010, and not long after had their first son. While Jang Dong Gun had been busy since, Go So Young had mostly stayed out of the spotlight to focus on raising her son. 
“Go So Young and Jang Dong Geun are very happy that the daughter they waited for has come,” the rep for the actress concluded.

It’s a girl for the famous star couple Jang Dong-gun and Ko So-young.
Their agency SM C&C announced Tuesday that actress Ko gave a birth at 10:30 a.m. at a hospital in southern Seoul the same day.
“Jang stayed beside Ko while she was in labor and watched the moment of birth,” said a manager of the agency. “The newborn is a girl and both mother and baby are in good health.” 
The two were married in May 2010, and already have a 3-year-old son. Jang recently finished shooting for the upcoming film “Crying Man,” where he played a professional hit-man.

Top celebrity couple Ko So-young and Jang Dong-gun became parents for a second time yesterday, when Ko gave birth to a daughter, according to local media.
Both mother and daughter are said to be in a healthy condition. Jang, who has been abroad filming his new movie, “Crying Man,” reportedly flew right back when he heard that his wife had gone into labor.
Ko and Jang married in May 2010 amid much hoopla because the two had long been among the top celebrities in Korea. Their son, Joon-hyuk, was born in October 2010. 
The 41-year-old actress appeared in the MBC documentary “Dreams of Mothers” last December, telling stories of single mothers who were doing their best to raise their children.

Top celebrity couple Jang Dong-gun and Ko So-young welcomed their second child together today, according to Jang’s agency on Tuesday.
An official with SM C&C told TenAsia over the phone that Ko gave birth to a girl at around 10:30 a.m. and that Jang was present for the delivery as well.
“They’re still both very tied up with the birth. But they’ll be focusing on Ko’s recovery and raising the baby for the time being,” the official added.
Jang is soon set to wrap up filming of his movie tentatively titled “Crying Man” and will focus on his family thereafter.
The two, who were co-stars in 1999 movie “Love Wind, Love Song,” married in May 2010 and have a son whom Ko gave birth to in October the same year.

It has been discovered that a thief broke into Jang Dong Gun and Go So Young‘s villa located in the Gapyeong Coutny of Gyeonggido. Fortunately, there were not much damages.
Jang Dong Gun’s agency SM C&C spoke with OSEN on March 5 and commented, “We received a call from a security company about the news of a thief breaking into Jang Dong Gun’s Gapyeong villa. The security company called the police and Jang Dong Gun at the same time.”
The rep continued, “After receiving the call, Jang Dong Gun and his manager went to the villa. Further investigations are needed for more details but as of the moment, we are told that there aren’t a lot of damages.”
The police are currently investigating the couple’s villa.
In other news, Jang Dong Gun and Go So Young recently welcomed a new baby girl into their family.

Jang Dong Gun and Ko So Young’s Vacation Home Gets Broken Into

On March 4, the Gapyeong Police Department reported that someone broke into a vacation home under Jang Dong Gun’s name. Three cameras, which were on display, were taken. 
The security system installed at the home detected the break in and immediately called for the police. Although there were eight CCTVs watching the scene, not much could be found on tape. Investigations are still underway. 
The couple purchased the three story vacation home for their parents in 2009.

Celebrity Couple Fall Victim to Burglary

Actors Jang Dong-gun and Ko So-young have fallen victim to a burglar who stole three cameras from their holiday home in Gapyeong, Gyeonggi Province. 
Jang and Ko are living in Seoul and do not have a security guard at the holiday home, which was completed just a month ago.
Police in Gapyeong said on Wednesday a security company reported the theft to the police after the burglar alarm went off on Tuesday night. The police confirmed that the thief broke into the house by breaking the glass door at the back and stole three cameras that were displayed in the living room. 
A police officer said, "There were few valuables in the house except for furniture and electronic appliances, so it seems that the thief just took the cameras and fled."


The house has eight CCTV cameras, but none of them captured the thief as they were either too far from the entry point or angled the wrong way, according to the police. 
The house is part of a gated estate for the rich with spectacular views over the Bukhan River and Lake Cheongpyeong.
