Ooh, Goo Hye Sun! Goo Hye Sun is always lovely to watch, particularly after she's proven her abilities in King and I. She looked wonderful there as So Hwa. Now she'll play So Yoon! Couldn't think of a better lead actress for another sageuk, though one would've thought she'd take some time out for resting or something. King and I's only just finished O: It says "painful love" though, so let's hope it's not tragically sad.

babixtin3: The article regarding Seo Woo states that she'll be the female lead, doesn't it? I'd prefer Goo Hye Sun as female lead, but it might not if she's going to play star-crossed lovers with Eric (general kdrama form dictates that the pairing that doesn't work out is usually the alternative XD)

My Korean friend had confirmed that Goo Hye Sun as female lead and Seo Woo as support female.

I've never seen Goo Hye Seon act before.. but I've heard wonderful things about her, so I'm definitely looking forward to her painful romance with Eric..hehehe.. As for the other girl Seo Woo, she looks pretty.. maybe this drama will showcase her acting skills more..

I adore Goo Hye Seon. She's very cute. I remember her character in Pure 19, and I've never seen the King and I. But I've heard that she was completely different which was very impressing. So many people have actually given her great reviews in the King and I. In Pure 19 (KBS daily drama) she was cute, pure and innocent and very much a naive girl, and in the King and I (they said), she was a true queen.

I don't know, but I can't imagine her with Eric though. I won't say I don't like it. I guess I have to see them physically together first.

Goo Hye Sun is set to continue the sageuk wave after "The King And I".

Goo Hye Sun has accepted the female lead role of Seo Yoon in KBS2's '"Strongest Chil Woo", starring opposite Eric who plays Kang Chil Woo. She plays the daughter of a yangban, who had been abducted to China before being brought back to Joseon. She is a beautiful woman who is the love interest of Chil Woo.

Goo Hye Sun's management company said, "Although it's another sageuk drama after The King And I, this drama has a completely different feel from The King And I". They emphasised that she will portray a totally different character.

I must admit that I first heard about Seo Woo, I was like WTF??, especially after seeing the Ice Cream CF she was in as she looks way too young. So I was hugely relieved to see that Goo Hye Sun is the leading lady instead. I've seen her in Nonstop 5 with Minwoo and I thought she wasn't bad. And I've heard that she improved a lot too in her recent drama, The King and I so I'm pretty excited to see how she would do here. And also I'm looking forward to seeing how Eric and GHS's chemistry would be like.

After QSS, I couldn't wait until Eric got back on-screen again. Now, he's in a sageuk drama. That's a nice change. Although, I've never seen GHS act, I've heard many great things about her and I can't wait to see her on-screen.

After reading the character synopisis of both leading ladies, I find myself more drawn to SW's character. I've always liked the main female lead to be spunky, outgoing and independent. But maybe, this drama will change my view of that. I guess I'll just wait and see, but I'm definitely not skipping out on this (esp. since it's Eric's last drama before doing his military service).

wow, surprisingly, i'm really looking forward to Strongest Chil Woo now! just having Eric in the cast was enough to try the drama, but the new additions of cast members now make it a must-see. love Eric as an actor ever since the amazing Que Sera Sera...the guy was always a decent actor but QSS brought him to another level for me.

I was so thrilled when i heard that Goo Hye Sun was gonna be the leading lady. she's so adorable but a good actress. it's funny but after i heard she was in the cast, i automatically agreed that she would have great chemistry with Eric....don't know why...they both have very modern looks. hope they don't disappoint my expectation. can't wait. plot sounds interesting too. looking forward to this one!!!
