Yong-su resolves to cross over to China, and scrapes together what money he can. However, he is soon caught by the police and strikes a deal that eventually separates him from his family. Meanwhile, Yong-su's wife dies and his son sets forth to find his father, just as Yong-su does to reunite with his son. (105 min)
