Where do you shop for clothes and shoes?

seeking help desperately

I do not like the design or trend thesedays... clothes from most department store almost never look good on me thesdays. I am not fat but I am a little thick around the middle...=( anyways all the clothes thesdays.. you have to be size 0 to look decent. So I was wondering where you guys shop for clothes and shoes.. Please help me. thanks! BTW, I am 5' 6'' and 135 lbs.. now... I've gained some weight over the winter =( but anyways it looks like all the Korean girls around me are like 100 lbs =( ahhhhhhhhhhh and I hate hate hate wearing high heels... or stellatos.. they were made to kill women I swear. I want comfortable loafers, sandles or flip flops, boots, or snickers. =)

^ agreed. theres this one store in my neighborhood called the garment district and they have alot of very unique things (unique as in good .. not freeky)

i got alot of skirts and retro tees there =)

I have a huge belly too!! I'm skinny all over but fat in the middle part so it I can't wear tight shirts. People think I'm pregnant. Therefore, I have to shop for clothes that are loose around my belly. It's a challenge but I got used to what worked on my body type and what didn't. I think there isn't any particular store you should shop at but find out what looks good on and shop around.

stores like abercrombie and hollister have a lot of those babydoll shirts that flare out at your stomach so it will hide a little belly fat.

Trends come and go, so buy trendy clothes on the cheap. I turn to Ross. TJMaxx. Marshall's. Thrift stores ARE fun!

You don't need to be size 0 to look good. No one is going to see your tag except for you.

Don't be insecure. You're in the normal range. =)

I think you are fine the way you are. Don't worry about the other girls around you. If you're tired of dept stores, try ross marshalls I find super good trendy deals there. I don't ever wear high heels either and i'm 4'10.

my favorite sandals are rainbows, although they are on the expensive end but it last at least 3 years.
