“Love Your Enemy” tells the story of Seok Ji Won (Joo Ji Hoon) and Yoon Ji Won (Jung Yu Mi), who were born on the same day with the same name and whose families have been enemies for generations, as they reunite after 18 years.

Joo Ji Hoon stars as Seok Ji Won, the new chairman of Dokmok High School. Seok Ji Won excelled effortlessly in both academics and sports, making him a standout since childhood. Jung Yu Mi plays Yoon Ji Won, a physical education teacher at the school once called “Mad Dog” and Seok Ji won’s only sworn enemy. Sharing the same name and birthday, the two Ji Wons are locked in a three-generation-long feud. Now reunited at the school as chairman and gym teacher, their story is set to unfold, raising curiosity about what will happen next.

The poster captures the beginning of Seok Ji Won and Yoon Ji Won’s romance, blending real-life imagery with illustrations to create a unique vibe that perfectly matches the lighthearted and romantic tone of “Love Your Enemy.”

Watch: Joo Ji Hoon And Jung Yu Mi Walk The Fine Line Between Love And Hate In "Love Your Enemy" Teasers

20241101031200_Love-Your-Enemy-2.jpg?s=9

tvN’s upcoming drama “Love Your Enemy” has released character teasers for its leads!

“Love Your Enemy” will tell the story of “arch-nemeses” Seok Ji Won (Joo Ji Hoon) and Yoon Ji Won (Jung Yu Mi), who were born on the same day with the same name and whose families have been enemies for generations.

Seok Ji Won’s teaser begins with the two of them reuniting after 18 years when he returns to his alma mater of Dokmok High School as the chairman of the school foundation. There, he firmly declares that he is against dating in the workplace by condescendingly asking, “Who dates at a school? I absolutely detest people who can’t draw the line between their work and personal lives.”

It isn’t long before gym teacher Yoon Ji Won loses her temper and attacks Seok Ji Won at school, leading him to scoff that he isn’t bothered in the slightest by her constant “barking” and bickering.

However, at the end of the teaser, the atmosphere between the former classmates takes a romantic turn, with Seok Ji Won saying, “Date me. When the lilacs bloom.”

Meanwhile, Yoon Ji Won’s teaser begins with her caught off guard by Seok Ji Won suddenly arriving at school. She then complains about his bad personality to others, warning, “Don’t be fooled by his handsome face!”

At school, sparks fly between the two at every turn—but after Seok Ji Won asks her how it felt to see him again, the unlikely couple shares a romantic kiss.

“Love Your Enemy” premieres on November 23 at 9:20 p.m. KST and will be available with subtitles on Viki.

Kim Ye Won Transforms Into A Math Teacher With A Secret Crush On Ju Ji Hoon In New Drama “Love Your Enemy”

tvN’s upcoming drama “Love Your Enemy” has unveiled the first stills of Kim Ye Won’s character!

“Love Your Enemy” will tell the story of “arch-nemeses” Seok Ji Won (Ju Ji Hoon) and Yoon Ji Won (Jung Yu Mi), who were born on the same day with the same name and whose families have been enemies for generations.

Ju Ji Hoon stars as Seok Ji Won, the chairman of Dokmok High School and the longtime rival of Yoon Ji Won. Jung Yu Mi plays Yoon Ji Won, a physical education teacher at Dokmok High who reunites with Seok Ji Won after 18 years.

Kim Ye Won takes on the role of Cha Ji Hye, a math teacher at Dokmok High and an 18-year friend of both Seok Ji Won and Yoon Ji Won. Cha Ji Hye has secretly admired Seok Ji Won since childhood, and his return to Dokmok High reignites her longtime crush.

In her first stills as Cha Ji Hye, Kim Ye Won captures attention as the elegant beauty of Dokmok High School. In the images, she exudes sophistication with her striking looks and a haughty expression that makes her seem unapproachable. Although Cha Ji Hye and Yoon Ji Won have been close friends since high school and now work together, Cha Ji Hye often makes pointed comments that highlight Yoon Ji Won’s insecurities, all while pretending to be concerned.

The only time Cha Ji Hye shows her unexpected charm is in front of her longtime crush, Seok Ji Won. In another still, she is seen walking through the school grounds with him, enjoying a lively conversation. While she typically maintains her aloof, elegant persona, she can’t help but smile brightly when he is around. This raises questions about whether she will finally have the chance to end her long unrequited love. Viewers will be eager to see the exciting chemistry that develops between Cha Ji Hye and her 18-year friends Seok Ji Won and Yoon Ji Won.

The production team stated, “Viewers will enjoy watching Cha Ji Hye’s one-sided love story as it unfolds between friendship and romance.” They added, “With the reunion after 18 years, we hope you look forward to the evolving romance among Seok Ji Won, Yoon Ji Won, and Cha Ji Hye.”

Watch: Ju Ji Hoon And Jung Yu Mi Reunite 18 Years After Their First Love Ends Badly In "Love Your Enemy" Teasers

Nov 06, 2024
by E Cha

tvN has shared a new sneak peek of its upcoming drama “Love Your Enemy”!

“Love Your Enemy” is a romance drama about “arch-nemeses” Seok Ji Won (Ju Ji Hoon) and Yoon Ji Won (Jung Yu Mi), who were born on the same day with the same name and whose families have been enemies for generations.

The newly released teaser begins with sparks flying between the two protagonists, who are reunited for the first time in 18 years when Seok Ji Won returns to his alma mater of Dokmok High School as the chairman of the school foundation. Yoon Ji Won, who is now a gym teacher at the school, makes no attempt to hide how displeased she is to see him again, calling him cowardly, selfish, and petty.

After Seok Ji Won acts cocky during a school meeting, Yoon Ji Won tells him to his face that she is unhappy to see him again after 18 years. When someone asks her if she hates him for no reason, Yoon Ji Won says he’s been bad news ever since they were young.

The teaser then flashes back to the leads’ high school days, when the two students made a bet. Seok Ji Won surprises Yoon Ji Won by saying, “If you win, I’ll do anything you want. But if I win?… Go out with me, if I win.”

Although their teenage romance ended badly, their bet lives on in the present, where someone explains that the unpredictable “crazy lilacs” at their school only bloom in certain years. “They might bloom,” says Seok Ji Won, to which Yoon Ji Won insists, “I’m telling you, they won’t bloom.” Seok Ji Won gets up from the table as he defiantly replies, “What if they bloom? What are you going to do if they bloom?”

Later, when Seok Ji Won mentions the possibility of Yoon Ji Won still having feelings for him, she angrily scoffs, “Am I crazy?” However, as Seok Ji Won gets visibly jealous around Yoon Ji Won, the atmosphere between the exes takes a decidedly romantic turn. The teaser ends with Seok Ji Won asking, “How did it feel to see me again after 18 years, Yoon Ji Won?”

“Love Your Enemy” premieres on November 23 at 9:20 p.m. KST and will be available to watch on Viki.

*** New character posters have dropped for Disney+’s upcoming Light Shop, where Joo Ji-hoon awaits his visiting customers from between the mortal and spirit realms. The cast will be creeping to our screens on December 4 next month.

It's the season for Joo Ji-hoon on tvN as well for Love Your Enemy. The rom-com follows their enemies-to-lovers-again story on November 23, following Jeongnyeon – The Star is Born in the weekend slot.

I just realized that we will get a double dose of Joo Ji Hoon starting with Love Your Enemy next month. I hope these dramas are good. Ji-hoon has contrasting dramas. Oh! sure. Bring it on.
