tiramisu
The Namesake (for my English class) The Historian. i'm reading it again because... i feel like it. oh... great choices! I've read and very much enjoyed both. I picked up "The Namesake" because I really enjoyed Jhumpa Lahiri's "Interpreter of Maladies." She's such a talented writer! and now i'm reading "Everyone Worth Knowing" by Lauren Weisberger i'm halfway through, and personally, i think "The Devil Wears Prada" (by the same author) is much better. i think i'm getting bored of chick-lit. Guest crazyMuka
Just finished Angels and Demons by Dan Brown. I read it faster than I thought, but it was such a page turner with lots of cliffhangers and twists. But I think the second half of the book isn't as exciting as the first half, I almost lost interest when I was getting near the end. The climax, to me, was anticlimatic. The last twist didn't get me by surprise at all, because I kinda knew who was the culprit when I reached the second half of the book. The character development is poor, lol. But all in all, it's a good book for those who like thrillers. What I'm going to read now is The da Vinci Code by Dan Brown. Let's see what all the hype is about :)
