Song Hye-kyo's comeback drama 'Now, We're Breaking Up' released the script reading site ahead of the first broadcast.
SBS's new Friday-Saturday drama, 'Now, We're Breaking Up' (hereafter, 'Jihe-jung'), which will be aired for the first time in November, is a breakup actual drama written as 'farewell' and read as 'love'.
Writer Jane of 'Misty' and director Lee Gil-bok of 'Romantic Doctor, Teacher Kim 2' are working together, while Line & Eun-Kyung Kang, creators of 'Misty' and 'The World of the Married', participate and raise expectations.
At the script reading site for 'Jihe-jung' in April, the production team including director Lee Gil-bok and writer Jane, as well as actors Song Hye-kyo, Jang Ki-yong, Choi Hee-seo, Kim Joo-heon, Park Hyo-joo, Yoon Na-mu, Yoon Jeong-hee, Joo Jin-mo, and Cha Hwa-yeon, attended. shined. The presence of actress Song Hye-kyo, who is thrilled by the name alone, shone. Song Hye-kyo, who plays the female lead Ha Young-eun, led the play with her stable acting skills and excellent emotional immersion. It sensibly expresses everything from a trendy career woman to the realistic friendship and love of a woman in her 30s, just like the role of the design team leader of a fashion company. Song Hye-kyo's acting, which made all the scenes flutter, made people look forward to the charming 'Ha Young-eun' in this drama.
Next, Jang Ki-yong, the male lead, was dazzling. Jang Ki-yong, who played the role of Yoon Jae-guk, a freelance fashion photographer in the play, was completely assimilated into the character, including his eyes, facial expressions, and tone of voice. Jang Ki-yong's charm, which completes Yoon Jae-guk, who is sometimes cool, sometimes serious, and sometimes unstoppable, in his own style, seems to usurp the hearts of women in the small screen.
The romantic breath drawn by Song Hye-kyo and Jang Ki-yong was also strong. The two actors Song Hye-kyo and Jang Ki-yong showed the emotional lines of men and women bound by 'love' just by making eye contact and talking. I wonder how the two people's dazzling breathing will be completed on the screen just by reading the script.
On the other hand, Choi Hee-seo, who predicted a change in acting, also stood out. Hee-seo Choi portrayed the splendor of the character Hwang Chi-sook, general director of the design team of a fashion company, and the lack behind it with solid acting skills. Choi Hee-seo's bouncy charm, which had never been seen easily, was impressive.
Kim Joo-heon captivated the scene with the charm of 'adult man'. Kim Joo-heon, who played the role of Seok Do-hoon, the CEO of RP company in the play, doubled the charm of the character by crossing maturity and innocence. Here, the adult romance that the two will draw also foreshadows the tickling excitement, raising expectations.
In addition, Hyo-joo Park and Nam-nam Yoon worked together as a couple and performed realistic and deep emotional performances. In addition, high-end actors such as Joo Jin-mo, Cha Hwa-yeon, Nam Nam-ae, and Choi Hong-il supported the play with their heavy presence and acting skills, and Yoon Jeong-hee and Yura also gave vitality to the play with their strong performances. In particular, Yoon Jung-hee, who made a comeback to the small screen after a long time, enriched the drama with deeper acting.
It was a script reading site full of immersion and passion. The actors immersed themselves in their respective characters and plays without showing any signs of exhaustion throughout the script reading, creating a heated atmosphere reminiscent of a real scene. The production team, including director Gil-bok Lee and writer Jane, also made a detailed effort not to miss even the smallest details for a high-quality work. From the first breath, thanks to the perfect actors and crew, the expectations for this broadcast have risen vertically.
Meanwhile, in the fall of 2021, SBS' new Friday-Saturday drama 'Now, We're Breaking Up', which will bring a deep lingering and melodic sensibility to the small screen, is scheduled to air in November following 'Wonder Woman'.

Jang Ki Yong is the male lead Yoon Jae Guk, a wealthy and popular freelancer photographer who also has the brains and looks. He became fully synchronized with his character in every way, from his gaze to his facial expressions and way of speaking. In his own style, Jang Ki Yong portrayed Yoon Jae Guk’s tendency to deal with with love in a way that is unbothered at times, careful at others, and passionate sometimes.

The role will bring out Choi Hee Seo’s energetic side that was not often highlighted in her previous works.

Playing the PR company CEO Seok Do Hoon, the actor amplified his character’s appeal as he portrayed Seok Do Hoon’s coexisting maturity and innocence. The love line between Seok Do Hoon and Hwang Chi Sook will be another one to look forward to.
