It's nice of Dispatch to feature SHK's photo in Istanbul to think it's a already a week after it came out from SNSs post/SHK fan sites and the gist of their article talks about SHK in Istanbul , more on her picture captured while walking on Istanbul famous street as featured on Istanbul's media/news , it also boasted her perfect beauty wherein it somehow said that though SHK was without make up her features deserved attention and it also said something about her "I am Queen" movie. A Turkish news outlet reported that Song Hye-kyo visited Istanbul, printing a photo of her taken on the street in the capital.

The photo was taken while Song was enjoying sightseeing in her spare time during her visit to Turkey for the shooting of her upcoming Chinese film “I Am the Queen.” The Turkish media outlet used a picture posted by Song’s agency.

In the photo, Song flaunts flawless skin and much-envied facial features. The 32-year-old star looks younger than she is with her new short hair.

She plays a lead role in the upcoming film about a big-name actress discovering her true self. The release date for the movie has not yet been announced.

樣理解這個角色，這個角色的什麼性格吸引了

你？你似乎一直都期待著能扮演這樣一人角色，

為什麼？

COSMO: In the movie “Hwangjini” , you

have portrayed a wealthy family daughter

that has chosen to become a prostitute in

order to persue freedom. How did you

understand this role, what disposition of

this role has attracted you? You seem to be

anticipating to portray this kind of

character, why?

宋慧喬：黃真伊是一個生活在16世紀的朝鮮的女

人，她同時也是個畫家，舞蹈家，音樂家，她就

好像是一個生活在16世紀，卻具有21世紀思想的

女人。我想，你可以設想她在那時候過著怎樣的

生活，她一直感到痛苦，因為她是個備受爭議的

女性藝術家。對黃真伊來說， “妓女”是專業的“娛

人者”，這與眾所周知的日本的“藝伎”不同，這也

是她選擇成為“妓女”的最大原因。在16世紀的朝

鮮，“妓女”只是一份工作，她們可以與男人和女

人自由地討論藝術觀點和社會問題，甚至談論政

治話題。我認為，黃真伊就是朝鮮的佛吉尼亞伍

爾芙（英國女作家，被譽為20世紀現代主義與女

SHK: HJN is a 16th century Korea’s woman,

at the same time, she is also an artist, a

dancer, a musician, she looks like a woman

who is living in 16th century, but actually

has the 21st century mindset. I thought

that, you can conceive how she is living her

life in that time, she always feels the pain,

because she is a feminine artist which is

scandalous. To her, prostitute is a

professional entertainer, which is different

to the Japanese geisha. It is also the biggest

reason why she chooses to be a

“prostitute” . In 16th century Korea,

“prostitute” is only a profession, they may

freely discuss the artistic viewpoint and the

social question with the man and the

woman, and even discuss the political

topics. I believed that, HJN is Korea’s Fladia

(the English female writer, the pioneer

of 20th century modernism and feminism). I

may bravely say that, I also longed for

becoming like HJN as an entertainer, I hope

I can demonstrate my artistic talent as a

performer and become a great artist.

COSMO：除了演戲，你最希望做什麼？

宋慧喬：假如我沒有成為演員，我想我很可能會

成為一個服裝設計師。

COSMO: Besides acting, what do you want

to do most ?

SHK: If I am not an actress, I think I will

possibly be a fashion designer.

COSMO：你最喜歡的演員是哪位？和你合作過的

演員中哪位是你最喜歡的？為什麼？

宋慧喬：假如我對你說：我喜歡某個人，那麼我

可能要傷害到其他人。我只能說，我很幸運每次

都能和很好的搭檔們一起工作。

COSMO: Who is your favorite actor ? Among

all your collaboration partners, who is your

favorite ? Why ?

SHK: If I told you: I like someone, then I

may hurt the feelings of other people.

Therefore, I could only say that, I am lucky

that I’ve a good partner to work with in all

my projects.

COSMO：哪類角色是目前你最希望扮演的？

宋慧喬：我希望能演出一個與黃真伊完全相反的

角色

COSMO: Which kind of role you want to act

most now ?

SHK: I hope I can perform a role that is

completely the opposite of HJN.

COSMO：你一直是大家的偶像，你將來還會堅持

自己的偶像戲路嗎？

宋慧喬：我想，我更希望成為那些偉大實力派演

員中真正的一員。

COSMO: You have always been an everybody

idol, would you insist to play idol role ?

SHK: I think, I want to become like those

great actors with real acting power.

COSMO：進入演藝圈是你生命中的轉捩點嗎？是

否有什麼事情讓你感到遺憾？

宋慧喬：出演《藍色生死戀》是我演藝事業的轉

捩點，我現在還有時會回想，並自問，為什麼當

時沒有做得更好些呢？這讓我時常感到遺憾。

COMOS: To be in the showbiz, is it a turning

point in your life ? Is there anything that

makes you feel regretted ?

SHK: My turning point in showbiz is when I

perform ‘Autumn in my heart’. I still think

about it now sometimes and ask myself,

why I did not perform better at that time ?

This always make me regret.

COSMO：什麼時候你最快樂？

宋慧喬：每一天，每一刻。

COSMO: When are you most happy ?

SHK: Every day, every minute.

COSMO：韓國電視劇裡有太多灰姑娘式的故事，

你相信這樣的故事會發生在現實生活中嗎？或者

只是通過電視給現實中的人們一些美好的希望？

宋慧喬：韓國以前和現在一直深受孔子儒家思想

的影響，所以我們國家在很多方面都非常保守，

特別是韓國女性大多希望通過收看那些不切實際

的故事來釋放自己壓抑的感受，正是因為她們知

道這些故事往往不會發生在現實生活中。

COSMO: In the South Korean soap drama,

there are too many ‘Cinderella’. Do you

believe that this kind of stories will happen

in real life ? Or is it only happen through

television to give people some happy hopes?

SHK: South Korea before and now is deeply

influenced by Confucianism, therefore our

country in very conservative in many ways,

especially the South Korean female mostly

hoped that through watching these

unrealistic stories, they can release their

own feelings/pressure, as they know well

that these stories often cannot occur in real

life.

COSMO：你自己的走紅經歷會不會有些像“灰姑

娘”？

宋慧喬：在某種程度上我是有些像“灰姑娘”，雖

然我現在已經是個明星，

但是成為好演員的過程就是要打破“灰姑娘”一夜

走紅的神話。

COSMO: Your road to fame, is it somewhat

similar to ‘Cinderella’ ?

SHK: To a certain extent Iam like

‘Cinderella’. Though I am already a star, but

if I want to be a good actress, I would need

to break the myth of getting famous in one

night.

COSMO：很多韓國女演員選擇整容，是因為事業

需要？還是因為她們不夠自信？

宋慧喬：這是她們一生中非常重要的事情。當然

具體原因要看她們個人，是不相同的。

COSMO: Many Korean actresses have

choosen to perform plastic surgery, is it

because their professions require them to

do so ? Or is it because they have no self

confidence ?

SHK: It is a very important thing to them in

their life. However, the exact reason for

doing so is different for each of them.

COSMO：一個女人獲得成功並成為大眾偶像，是

不是意味著她會比普通人失去更多的快樂？

宋慧喬：我相信我的經歷還是給自己帶來了完美

的感受，因為我寧可作為宋慧喬，作為一個普通

人真實地活著，這比讓我成為娛樂公司或娛樂行

業的產物重要得多。

COSMO: A woman who is successful and

becomes a public idol, does it mean that

she will lose more happiness than normal

people ?

SHK: I believe my experience has given me a

sense of perfection. This is because I prefer

to be SHK than a normal people.

COSMO：在忙碌的生活中如何讓自己快樂？

宋慧喬：我會永遠從每一件小事情中學會感恩，

尋找快樂。

COSMO: How do you make yourself happy

in such a hectic life ?

SHK: I have learnt to be thankful for every

tiny thing that happens to me , to look for

joy.

COSMO：在娛樂圈內做個沒有野心的女人是不是

很難？畢竟幸運並不能解決所有的問題。

宋慧喬：我希望我做出的每個小選擇都能對我的

人生產生好的影響。

COSMO: Is it difficult to be a non-ambitious

woman in the showbiz ? Luck cannot solve

all the problems.

SHK: I hope that every small choice that I’ve

made will have a positive effect on me.

COSMO：哪種生活方式是你最想要的？

宋慧喬：我希望可以到任何我想到的地方旅行。

COSMO: What kind of lifestyle do you want

most ?

SHK: I want to travel to wherever I like.

COSMO：在飛機上你會隨身攜帶什麼東西？比

如，書或是護膚品

宋慧喬：我通常會帶一兩本自己想讀的書。我通

常不化妝，但是我會為自己的肌膚帶上保濕噴

霧。

COSMO: What will you bring to the plane ?

e.g. books or lotion ?

SHK: I usually will bring one or two books. I

usually will not wear any make up, but I will

bring some moisture mist.

COSMO：你最想去哪裡？

宋慧喬：哪裡都好，只要不用工作。

COSMO: Where do you want most to go ?

SHK: As long as I do not need to work,

every place is good.

COSMO：愛對你有多重要？男女雙方之間什麼是

最重要的？

宋慧喬：就像對所有人來說都一樣，愛對我非常

重要。我想，兩人間的彼此瞭解是最重要的。

COSMO: How important is love to you ?

What is the most important thing between

man and woman ?

SHK: Just like everybody, love is very

important to me. I think, the most

important thing between the couple is

mutual understanding.

COSMO：兩人相處，你最堅持的是什麼？

宋慧喬：真實。

COSMO: What do you insist in the

relationship ?

SHK: truth

COSMO：什麼樣的男人是性感的？男人的什麼特

質最吸引你？

宋慧喬：有堅強意志的男人是最性感的，也最吸

引我。

COSMO: What kind of man is sexiest ? What

kind of man’s characteristics will attract

you ?

SHK: man with strong will is most sexy and

appealling to me.

COSMO：什麼樣的女人是最性感的，你自認為性

感嗎？

宋慧喬：性感的女人和男人一樣，同樣也要有堅

強的意志。

COSMO: What kind of woman is sexiest ? Do

you think you are sexy ?

SHK: Sexy woman is similar to sexy man,

need to have a strong will.

COSMO：男人喜歡宋慧喬，你認為他們喜歡你什

宋慧喬：他們喜歡我，是因為我是個“心靈開

you disappointed with love ? Do you believe

that there is perpetual love ?

SHK: I will feel very sad, but will forget it

quickly, however, this depends how much I

have put into the relationship.

COSMO：女人是否比男人脆弱？你給人們的感覺

總是非常柔弱的，實際上你足夠堅強嗎？

宋慧喬：我有時會受到傷害，我想男人通常比女

人痊癒得快，那是因為兩性之間的差異。

COSMO: Is woman weaker than man ? You

always portray a feeble image, in reality,

are you strong ?

SHK: I will be hurt sometimes, I think man

will recover faster than woman, because

there is difference between the 2 sex.

"My Brilliant Life" which is based on Kim Ae-ran's best seller, is highly anticipated.

"My Brilliant Life" was ranked number one in portal sites ever since the stills were released on the 17th.

thankful for the awesome update on SHK though we dont have any latest photo of her after that Istanbul street picture , at least we have an idea  where she is now courtesy of the ever resourceful freshspring, hope someone can snap a photo of her while filming some scenes for "the Crossing" , i too if i were a student of  Tianjin Foreign Studies University, ill be over excited to see them there ,oh so lucky students given that chance.
truly agree xyzebra with the DCpoll that you have shared here , she is indeed deserving for the top spot as the most baby-faced top actress over 30 that can pass for a high school student in a school uniform . i've seen SHK old photos  during her Full House/My Girl days wherein she perfectly pull off wearing a school uniform . we'll we might see her again in school uniform if there will be flashback scenes for her MPL movie. SHK really lived up to her title as "Best in School Uniform" , a grand prize winner in school uniform contest way back in high school  that pave way to her acting career and even up to now in her 30's .

it's a good start as a record-breaker hits on the day the stills are released......but I guess, it's not what Kyo expected reading from the excerpts from one of her interviews in Cannes -

She added, “We worked hard filming. If expectations are too high then disappointment is also big, so I hope expectations are moderate. She predicted, “It seems it will be released in the fall.”
