Wanted to share this tribute of Jung DaBin by Epunx99

the name of song " Stay" by filipino artist Carol Banawa...

just read the lyrics... it's really nice... and touching... :tears:

Carol -the singer- wrote this song after her brother died of carbon monoxide poisoning

I want you to stay

Never go away from me

Stay forever

But now, now that you're gone

all I can do is pray for you

To be here beside me again

*Why did you have to leave me

When you said that love will conquer all

why did you have to leave me

When you said that dreaming

Was as good as reality

And now I must move on

Trying to forget all the memories

Of you near me

But I can't let go of your love

That has taught me to hold on

I want you to stay never go away from me

Stay forever

I want to stay but I have to go my way

Oohhhmmm

credits to jung dabin's cyworld for the pictures

My #1 favourite korean drama of all time lol. And I've actually watched quite a few. I really liked the fact that the villain wasn't a complete richard simmons who was just put there for the sake of having a villain *cough Wonderful Life and Full House*. It's hard not to feel sorry for SooJi despite all her evil doings, and all the pieces generally fell together. I didn't like Haewon's dad though...the actor didn't seem to fit the role. Everyone else was absolutely perfectly casted.

And the "other guy" was also great..not some useless dude who was pinning after the female lead leading to an annoying love triangle. This love triangle actually made some sense.

This was done BEFORE My Girl, so I dunno why people keep saying that the plot was copied from My Girl. If anything, it should be the other way around.

This series is super awesome! They know how to make strong chemistry. Such a funny and hilarious at the beginning but then, the plot becomes dramatic, too dramatic, and finally SAD. There are some scenes that has made me cry out loud. Too emotional, but yet, exciting and you can feel the satisfaction inside. Too bad, i like the happy ending! Thanks to everyone who involves in making this great drama. All the actors are great in acting! Rest in peace Jung Da Bin.

mmm... i think the ending is happy (hehe at least for me ^^)

bcos jung dabin finally knows who is she really love that's why she goes to new york (if i'm not mistaken) to find kang seun jae

and (though it's not too clear) jung dabin and also kang seun jae (he always love her from the first time he met) is so very happy to meet each other and start a new life together

besides kang seun jae already sacrifice so many things in his life for jung dabin so kang seun jae deserves to get his true lover, yayyyyy...really like that very much

but if u likes kang min jae (play by kim jaewon) more than kang seun jae (play by yoon kyesang) then it's no wonder u said that this drama has a sad ending, hahaha (pls don't feel offended, ok?)

I liked the ending very much, the only thing was i expected more than a smile... they didn't even hug. But the ending was still quite fulfilling, even without a hug.

Honestly, I don't know how this is even similar to My Girl AT ALL. -_- They're two different stories with two different endings and totally different characters. It's not like Lee Da Hae ends up with Lee Jun Ki in the end. If she did, then I'd say it was similar. Oh well. I guess the whole thing about how it involves contracts and searching for a missing person kind of creates similarities between the two. I was kind of reminded of MNIKSS when the ex-girlfriend who mysteriously disappeared returned from the States and tried to explain herself and ended up making him stand up the lead girl. (Note: I watched MNKISS first, lol.)

This drama was fun in the beginning, but it worked up a lot of tension in the end. It's more frustrating than Full House because NOBODY gets together until the VERY. LAST. MINUTE. In Full House, at least it was in the beginning of the last episode, no? Speaking of Full House, did Choi Soo Ji remind anyone of Kang Hye Won from Full House? The voice, the attitude, the character.. so similar.

Yoon Kye Sang is cute, but I've got to say I'm a bigger fan of Kim Jae Won, especially after Wonderful Life. : )

this drama was quite famous in korea right?

and when kyesang went to the army to finish his duty, this drama still airing in other countries (such as malay, philippines, japan, taiwan or maybe the other asian countries)

unfortunately in my country indonesia this drama never aired

they only aired the plagiate with different players (of course)

the one who played kyesang role is cute but the others were bad!

especially the one who played kim jaewon role, he really reallly ugly!! cannot compare to jaewon, not even a bit >.<

the acting, the story .... they change everything!!

no wonder this drama didn't famous in my country at all, they even let the episode hanging and stop it without any reason

sighh.. too bad :sweatingbullets:

I'm on episode 9 so far and I'm loving this drama. Very saddened to hear that dabin is no longer with us. She was such a sweet and talented girl.

Still...i sympathized with sooji from the get go and felt sorry for her. But i'm truly starting to hate her now. If she says one more time to one of the brothers that to love yoomin is "dangerous" I'm gonna scream. If i was there and she kept talking in riddles around me i would've knocked her upside the head and told her to either tell me what's her deal, or to just keep her trap shut. jeez!

hehe yep me too, i don't like sooji too

but if you see her family background and how yoomin's father cares and loves yoomin (though he cares and loves her too) you understand why sooji behave like that

because in the end she realizes and she became a good girl too

there is no bad guy in this drama, everybody has their own reason

it's really a good story

and yeah too bad dabin already gone

if she hang on for a little while and not took that way maybe...

ahh... good bye dabin

on episode 16 now. lol, Stayed up all night watching it till i had to call it quits 'cause i had work today. Gonna watch the last episode now. I made it a point not to read the posts before my last time in fear of spoilers. hehe

and yeah kyelin I do understand I guess. But in ep 15 she made me mad with her whole demon in everyone speech. What an apology. She might as well not have said anything. *sigh. Up to a point though in her speech...I must confess I do agree.

wahh, loved this drama SOSOSOSo much. i'm just sad that yoon kyesang hasn't had any good roles since then...this is the only place he actually looks good.

plz plz plz does anyone know if its possible and where i can get Yoon KyeSangs's version of the theme song? (it goes, "look back at me, just for once can't it be reason enough that i loved you first?")

Good to know people still love this drama coz the female lead - JUNG DaBin had already left us forever...this was her 2nd tv drama as the main lead after "Attic Cat".

As for YOON KyeSang, this was his first tv drama (excluding those during god times which KS and the god members were the guest stars in the MBC Non-Stop).

This drama was funny and sad too. I guarantee you that it's a must watch drama, so for friends who still haven't watch it, pls look up for this drama. (no bias....though I like the 2 leads)

T_T I'm so late~ I just started this drama yesterday! @_@ HAHA. Oh but yeah, I was so curious how Yoon Kyesang acted before because I'm watching 'Who are you' and it was so fun to see his comical face! He never fails to make me laugh when he does that, then I realized that he was in this drama! ROFL. <33 I scanned the whole thread and I was so tempted to look at the spoilers and the pictures but I managed not to spoil myself.. ._.

The first 4 episodes are so amusing~ 8D <33 Dang, I'm starting to think that old dramas are really better than the ones airing these days. ;_;

<3 Yoon Kyesang is so adorable in this drama~ AHHA Omygosh~ 8D <33 And I think his acting is pretty good too. :] Good thing he did his army earlier than the actors along his generation! :P hehe

Cycpopbaby19: Me too, I'm starting this drama a little late but I'm discovering Jung Da Bin along the way. Actually, watched this after completed Wonderful LIfe w/ child actress Jung Da Bin...interesting. I realized there is a similarity between the two with 'contract' engagement/marriage and that Kim Jae Won's best friend in both series is played by the same guy. I'm currently on episode 9, but I'm kind of cheering for KJW-JDB than JDB-YKS but obviously KJW is the 'other' guy.

Can't wait to finish it.

Edit: Just finished it. A lot people didn't like the ending but I thought it was decent. A pretty good drama.
