Oh yes I was delighted to see  CHJ in a saguk costume.  I know there are many fans who really want to see him in a saguk drama, preferably serious melo-romance haha,  as  CJH had his first major career break from saguk GFB.   
This drama ‘Flower Crew’  appears to be for the younger viewers but I like what PD did with 'Devilish Joy'  so I might give it a try.
You are right. Personally I enjoyed Tunnel more.  It weaved so well the characters’ relationship on an emotional level with this crime aspect.  Whereas Justice made me think more about how human nature would manifest within given a circumstance/situation.  It’s interesting to watch so much greyness created in the relationship between Tae Kyung and Song.

Actually @booha there's this Kangchi the Beginning in Netflix too...

I really wanted to watch it because of CJH... But for some reasons, I couldn't bring myself to watch it!!!  (as some of my friends told me that there are some horror or ghost scenes... same reasons why I couldn't bring myself to watch Goblin and Hotel de Luna) 

So I haven't been able to watch it since it aired! 

 

Good thing it's on Netflix, I hope one day I could gather my courage to watch it... 

 

But in the meantime, I kept on re-watching Tunnel and Pride and Prejudice... I hope Emergency Couple will be up in Netflix too!

Gu Family Book ( or Kangchi the Beginning) has 2 parts.   The first 2 eps are about Kangchi Parents ((CJH, as GWR, Kangchi’s dad)) and Kangchi’s part starts from ep3.   CJH’s second character, dark WR returns in ep13.
The first 2 eps are like a movie by itself with beginning and ending.    GFB team bought the latest camera and spent 3 months filming in Jeju island.  It’s a well made tragic love story with beautiful cinematography.

CJH was supposed to appear only in the first 2 eps but his character, GWR, created such a huge WR fever in Korea that people demanded his return in the drama.  However, because his character wasn’t planned for further eps, they created this dark WR which was given very little screen time.  
At the end, to me,  bringing back WR and focusing on Kangchi with his tragic parents helped make a stronger ending for the leads because the plot line became too spread out and ambitious.  

** I don’t think there are ghosts, if I remember correctly??   There might be a few scary scenes but would they be considered horror??

According to the article, Jung Hye In signed as the female lead for an upcoming  new drama OCN ‘Rugal’.       And it says currently CJH and Park Sung Woong are reviewing the drama.  
Well if Regal team decided on the female lead, it means CJH must be in for the drama and possibly he is working on the contract details.

On October 10, an entertainment official revealed, "CJH recently finished recording as a special MC in the recording of SBS 'MLOB."

 

CJH is a representative single star who is supported by many female fans. In particular, through  MBN 'Devilish Joy' he earned the nickname ‘Kiss Artisan’ and attracted the hearts of female fans.

 

In this year's SBS 'Empress's Dignity', he played the role of Na Wang-sik and showed romance lines with Jang Nara and Lee Hee-jin.   As he appeared afterward in ‘We Will Channel You!’ and confessed he would like to get married,  his appearance in SBS ‘MLOB’ is drawing  great attention. On October 11, the actor’s agency G-Tree Creative officially announced, “Choi Jin Hyuk will be playing the role of the shadow police officer Kang Ki Bum in OCN’s new original drama ‘Rugal.'”

Based on the webtoon of the same name, “Rugal” is an action revenge drama about an elite detective (played by Choi Jin Hyuk) who attempts to bring down a nationwide criminal organization named Argos. In the process, he ends up being targeted by the powerful criminals behind Argos, and not only does he lose his beloved wife and both of his eyes, but he is also framed for murder. After receiving a set of artificial eyes with special abilities created using biotechnology developed by an organization named Rugal, he sets out on a quest to wipe out the criminal organization responsible for his suffering.

The happy part, for his new drama Rugal and appearance in SBS ‘My Little Old Boy’  And not so happy one, Rugal is not romance   I hope after Rugal his manager really has to drag him into the romance drama land  by reminding of his wide eyed fans for romance.   hehe
The female lead is  Jung Hye In who seems to have played mostly as a supporting role, like Graceful Family & Jugglers.  I don’t feel there will be a strong love line in Rugal   But it’s in OCN so it better be good.

I haven’t seen SBS MLOB yet but since Viki has it,  I have to watch it sometimes.  He was good in the last show(We Will Channel You!).  
I have to confess I haven’t gotten over DJ’s couple yet. So I will have a serious heartburn if he confesses his secret date who is other than Song Ha Yoon.  So delusional I am right hahaha

This fan says she read the webtoon Rugal till page 64 but I don’t know where she found it though I tried.
Personally for a crime drama I would rather not know about the details.  Without surprise and speculation, it’s hard to get excited over this kind of drama.

And Rugal is confirmed.. The story seems a bit Si-fi. And it's another drama from webtoon. I hope it'll be more well executed. Hopefully the drama will be good as Tunnle if not better.

Hi flutterby,  I am intrigued by the aspect of super powers in the drama, the surgical eye enhancements is a new one. I haven’t read the webtoon, but I’m guessing that his character will be on the darker side. This is OCN so, I'm sure this will be well-executed. This sounds like it will be really good. Please be good! It sounds interesting to watch. I am looking forward to seeing Jin hyuk on screen again!

Jo Dong-hyuk joined the OCN drama 'Rugal'.

 

'Lugal' is a story of a special police organization, Rugal, in which its members embrace the pain of loss and choose to be a machine human, after overcoming the dangerous side effects, and defeat the great evil of Korea.

 

The main characters are concerned about the legitimacy of the fight even though they become machine weapons fighting against a terrible evil.   The drama shows that they try to protect humanity and reflect on the meaning of life they must live  even if they become mechanized.

In particular, the extreme science-action that combines realistic materials with science seems to be delightful eye candy, adding to the persuasiveness of mechanized characters.

Even though he has excellent fighting skills that he has never lost,  he doesn’t neglect daily training.  He is the best killing (machine) weapon.
