wow!!! lee young ae's thread is created so quickly now! hehe i just finished watching dae jang geum..it's was terrific and lee young ae was fantastic in it!! it surprises me to know that she started filiming in 1993!

Jewel In The Palace will air here in our country this coming November 2005..I can't wait to watch Lee Young Ae there..she's already in her thirties already but still pretty & talented..she's very popular in Asia..love her!

Chow Yun-fat wants to work with 'Dae Jang Gum' star

HONG KONG --- Hong Kong's Hollywood star Chow Yun-fat says he wants to work with Korean actress Lee Young-ae and praised emerging Thai action star Tony Jaa's latest film, a newspaper reported Sunday.

Chow said he respected the fact Lee finished her studies before launching her acting career.

"I want to make a movie with Lee Young-ae. It's rare that someone finishes university before acting full-time and still does such a good job," Chow was quoted as saying in the Apple Daily.

Lee Young-ae became a big star in Chow's native Hong Kong for her starring role in the TV series "Dae Jang Gum," which was a big hit here.

More recently, Lee played a female prison inmate wo seeks revenge against her accomplice, for whom she took the fall for a kidnapping in "Sympathy for Lady Vengeance," which screened at the Venice Film Festival.

"Tony Jaa's movie is also good," Chow said, an apparent reference to Jaa's latest release, "Tom Yum Goong." AP

I love her in The Last Present, but no one has made a thread about that movie. Any one know the actor name in that movie?

His name is Lee Jung-jae. He is the one in the movie "Il Mare".

Lee Young Ae to Act Korean Painter in HK TV Drama

South Korean actress Lee Young Ae will star in the 24-episode Hong Kong TV drama "The Three Years and Eight Months".

CRI Exclusive by Shen Min - The 24-episode Hong Kong TV drama "The Three Years and Eight Months" about the war of Chinese resistance against Japanese invaders from 1937 to 1945 will start shooting at the second half of this month.

South Korean actress Lee Young Ae, who is popular to Chinese fans for her recent role in the high-rating TV series "Dae Jang Geum", will be cast in the eight episodes of the TV play as a Korean painter, who flees from Korean to Hong Kong during the war period.

Hong Kong stars Andy Lau, Eric Tsang, Sammi Cheng highly praised the drama to be meaningful and patriotic and said that if their schedules permit they would probably co-star in the TV series.

I'm so excited because DAE JANG GEUM will air its pilot episode here in our country this coming November 7, Monday..I haven't seen Lee Young Ae since FIREWORKS..the trailers of DAE JANG GEUM here are great!!! There is a strong onscreen chemistry between her & JI JIN HEE..we Filipino K-drama fans are so excited to watch her period drama..the drama's dubbed in our native tongue so we could underastand it..Ji Jin Hee's my

I like her in 'Jewel In the Palace'. She has a charismatic charm on-screen. I like her on-screen chemistry with Ji Jin Hee. They are a perfect couple in the show!
