i just came back from watching it with my friend...

i swear i have never seen my friend cry so much because of a movie before!!

lol

anyway, it was VERY different from the book, but i watched the movie from a non-comparing point of view and i really enjoyed it

the way Gerry and Holly first met was totally cute, and had my sister crying...

i was impressed with Hilary Swank's performance, at first my friends and i were a but iffy about her playing in a romantic comedy

but she did a great job. LOL after watching the movie my friends and i were all saying that we need a Gerry in our lives... ^__^;

and Gerard Butler is *sighs* divine....

also in the movie you get a great shot at Jeffery Dean Morgan's tush!

i watched this yesterday!

IT'S SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!

WATCH IT!

i was crying almost throughout the whole movie

its so bittersweet, sad yet sweet

i was emotional hahaha

and gerard bulter is so cute

it was good to see him out of his 300 costume/character

a normal guy hahaha not a hot richard simmons trojan king (not that i minded)

ahhh so good

i'm going to watch it again with my sister on friday

btw i have never read the book, didn't even know it existed. i want to read it now though, not sure though, i don't want to read it then hate the movie for not being as good as the book because right now i love this movie. my favorite movie for now. but then again, usually movies made from books aren't as good.

also the critics reviews for this movie were really bad. they hated it! i don't know why though, i know a lot of people loved this movie. a lot of the yahoo users reviews were good. the critics don't know what they're talking about. sometimes people need a sweet feel good movie not something always oscar worthy crazy like million dollar baby or whatever.

but yeah overall for me i loved this movie, but i actually didn't want to watch this beforehand. i didn't even know what it was about, i thought it was about some girl trying to find a guy. my roommate wanted to watch it so i just watched it bcuz of her. but i'm so glad i did. so i guess i enjoyed it a lot because i wasn't expecting much and i didn't really have a desire to watch it. but i love it now. watch it!!

i didn't like the movie much!! i think they should of made his death more dramatic, cos otherwise it wouldn't be as sad. either that or ive been watching too many dramas.

After reading reviews I came in with HIGH EXPECTATIONS despite the fact that I never read the book before. The movie didn't live up to its HYPE IMO but Hilary Swank and Gerard did a GREAT JOB. The trailer was very misleading also, my guy friend who went to watch with us said that the trailer tricked him. LOL. He thought it was suppose to be a feel good movie. I love the humour in it though. It was mediocore to me.

I agree, this movie was really choppy and mixed up, I sometimes got sidetracked. There were parts that were boring, but Gerard Butler was so handsome^^.keke..I would give it a b-, but the chemistry between the two main characters was very good. I'm excited to read the book, I hope it will be even better!!

haha. I took my bf to go watch this. He laughed when I started to literally sob. He was the only guy in the theater.

I LOVED this movie. Yes, it is a little choppy and such, but overall I really liked the book. Gerard Butler is AMAZING.

p.s. I rather have watched this with my girlfriends because I would be able to drool over Gerard Butler's hot body.. but that's just me.
