Guest itrayya Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 that doesnt look like her at first glance in that picture. i saw the preview of this, and it reminded me of the movie 'the letter'. the one where her husband wrote a lot of letters and had them mailed after he died. i was reminded of that film. looks really good. i want to see it. it looks so sad. well, we all know her husband die so... i think im prepared with my emotions.
Guest monchichi Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 I absolutely loved the book... it's the only book I've ever read that made me sob uncontrollably. When I first heard about this movie, I was a bit surprised they casted Hilary Swank as the lead... I would've thought they'd go with a more Bridget Jones kind of person since that's how I saw the whole book... The story was based in Dublin after all.......... I'm not expecting much from this movie and I'm keeping my hopes down because I'd hate to exit out of the theatre totally bummed out...

Guest apple920 Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 i read the book and cried my eyes out. it was such an incredible book so when i heard the movie was coming out, i was kind of disappointed with the casting and how they have changed quite a few things. definitely going to keep my expectations low because it would be so sad to feel like they have butchered an awesome storyline.
adurian Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 I read the book already and yes, the first book after a while made me sob uncontrollably. I hope the movie could move us as much as the book did! Lookin forward to it!
Guest oh so delicious Posted November 28, 2007 Posted November 28, 2007 Oh! I am really looking forward to this movie. I read the book 2 years ago and I'll never forget it. I don't think I ever cried so much reading a book. It really touches your heart and you feel like you're experiencing the heartbreak with her.
