Finally, after how many years I got the chance to post here! Its been six years after LIP was shown in the Philippines and where I became a fan of Mr Park Shin Yang. I am proud to say that still I am and will always be a fan of Mr Park. New stars may come, new idols will emerge, but PSY will always be special to me.

Hello also to Malenn and Goose! Two of the most ardent PSY supporters I know. I miss those days where we are all infected by the PSY virus

Veteran actor Park Shin-yang to show no mercy in 'Actor School'

Veteran actor Park Shin-yang said Wednesday he'll "show no mercy" to his six students in the upcoming reality show "Actor School."

Park played the lead role in the popular 2004 drama "Lovers in Paris" and has twice been named Best Actor of the Year by terrestrial network SBS.

"When I first heard about it, I thought it would be fun," Park told reporters at a news conference in Seoul. "But upon considering it further, I realized how cruel it can be -- because acting takes time."

None of his scathing criticism on the show is scripted.

"I never tried to be ruthless. Learning acting is actually a brutal process," he said.
Park will be coaching six "rookies," including Lee Won-jong, a professional actor with 24 years' experience but no Best Actor of the Year title.

Lee said the fact that Park is two years his junior didn't bother him.

"Being a good actor and being a good acting teacher are different. Not a lot of people can be both, but I think Park is one of them. Age doesn't matter," he said.

There are two other actors in the cohort, Shim Hui-seop and Park Doo-sik, neither of whom have mainstream success.

"To be honest, I was unhappy when I was asked to be on the show," Park Doo-sik said. "Actors tend to be lazy, and I'm no exception. I joined this show to motivate myself."

"Actor School" premieres on cable channel tvN at 11 p.m. Thursday. (Yonhap)

Park Shin-yang (Neighborhood Lawyer Jo Deul-ho) may be prepping to make his comeback to the big screen in a movie tentatively titled Two Wives, about a man who fights to find the wife who gets kidnapped while traveling through Cambodia. Park has not yet confirmed as to whether or not he’ll accept the role, but is said to be reviewing director Song Hae-sung’s (Boomerang Family, Maundy Thursday) project favorably. [Sports Chosun]

GANG Hye-jung and PARK Shin-yang Partner for MY WIFE
Kidnap Thriller from SONG Hae-sung Set in SE Asia

Earlier this month, actors GANG Hye-jung and PARK Shin-yang confirmed that they would appear in My Wife, the new film from veteran director SONG Hae-sung. YOON Je-moon (Fists of Legend, 2013) and SONG Seung-heon (Obsessed, 2014) will also take on roles in the thriller which was previously known as Two Men.
 
GANG and PARK will play a married couple who go on a trip to Southeast Asia. When the wife is kidnapped, her husband tries to track her down and save her.
 
Old Boy (2003) star GANG most recently featured in the family comedy-drama How To Steal A Dog (2014), based on a novel by Barbara O’Connor, and will next be seen in the high-concept thriller Lucid Dream alongside SUL Kyung-gu and KO Soo.
 
PARK, who is currently featuring in the TV drama My Lawyer, Mr. JO, has not been seen on the big screen since the shaman gangster comedy Man on the Edge, which was a hit in early 2013. He has also appeared in Kilimanjaro (2000), Hi, Dharma! (2001) and The Big Swindle (2004).
 
Director SONG, whose credits include Failan (2001) and Maundy Thursday (2006), last wielded the megaphone on the family drama Boomerang Family in 2013.
 
My Wife is scheduled to begin shooting in the second half of the year with a release likely to follow in 2017.

Kang Hye-jeong to make screen comeback in 'My Wife' co-starring Park Shin-yang

Kang Hye-jeong is making her screen comeback through film director Song Hae-seong's new movie.

"My Wife" directed by Song Hae-seong, previously well-known for 'Failan' and 'Our Happy Time'. The movie depicts the desperate fight of a husband who tries to save his wife kidnapped during traveling in South Asia.

Park Shin-yang has already been confirmed for the role as the husband. Song Seung-heon and Yoon Je-moon have been confirmed as well and are getting ready for filming. This movie was known under two different names, 'Wife' and 'Two Men' previously. They have settled for "My Wife" for the title.

Kang Hye-jeong, who showed off her usual strong screen presence in 'A Perfect Way to Steal a Dog' released in the end of 2014, will join film director Song Hae-seong and Park Shin-yang for the first time as she makes her screen comeback. Kang Hye-jeong has finished filming "Lucid Dream" recently and will resume her career as an actress more actively.

"My Wife" will begin filming in the second half of this year.

I'm a huge fan of PSY since Lovers in Paris & his thread here seemingly quiet! where are you guys? LOL been here first time since last week I've been rewatching him in LIP, WOM, The Letter, Neighborhood Lawyer & thought of looking for his thread & voila! I hope fans will come here again! let's not stop supporting a great actor
