I recharged my iPod nano today and when it updated not all of the new songs updated.

For example, say I imported 15 songs since the last time I charged. It only updated 2 songs.

Can anyone tell me what's up? :x

This sounds like an error has crept into the tunes database on your Ipod.

Though I don't like the sound of the solution that involves "erasing it completely, then re-fill it with music."

If you are feeling geeky (tho after my recent spectacular failure to resolve your CB problems via PM exchanges, I expect you've had enough geekiness to last you quite a while ) there are various utilities that can analyse and fix the songs database on an Ipod. The ones I know run on Linux or OS X, though, so they wouldn't be usable for you anyway.

I'm charging it again now, and it seems like things are going smoothly so far.

Make sure iTunes and your iPod software are up to date. Then you can try letting you iPod run out of batteries and reconnecting it.
