I just got done watching her appearance on Running Man episode 213, she did a great job, especially the impromptu modeling after getting soaked. She is such a trooper and a great sport. It was nice to see her with Song Ji Hyo again from EC. I wish her the best in her new drama.

The stars who have shined on MBC’s Radio Star throughout this year will return to the studio for the Radio Star – All Star Episode: Thanks to Ras.
g.o.d’s Park Jun Hyung, who produced ‘legendary shots’ by showing his foreigner skills on Radio Star, Seo Jang Hoon, whose name became the most searched word with his unexpected talking skills, Choi Yeo Jin, who shook up the studio with her candidness and Lee Gyu Han who captivated the MCs by making a confession on his hair loss, have confirmed their appearance.


The best guests who shined on Radio Star in 2014 made their reappearance and shook up the studio with their unexpected remarks. Park Jun Hyung especially made the MCs sweat by making shocking statements that nearly crossed over the line.
During the broadcast, which was carried on as a Christmas special, the MCs and guests exchanged their personal items. Despite the production team’s expectation to see a heart warming scene, Lee Gyu Han threw the box he received from Choi Yeo Jin, making the whole studio burst out laughing. The Christmas gifts from the eight people will be revealed through Radio Star – All Star Episode: Thanks to Ras.

Jung Joon Young and Choi Yeo Jin to Be a Couple in Mnet’s Upcoming Omnibus Drama

Model-turned-singer Jung Joon Young and model-turned-actress Choi Yeo Jin will be playing a couple in Mnet‘s upcoming omnibus drama, “The Lover.”

A representative from Mnet told the media on February 24, “We are preparing a drama called ‘The Lover.’ Oh Jung Se, Ryu Hyun Kyung, Jung Joon Young, Choi Yeo Jin, Park Jong Hwan, and Ha Eun Sul are confirmed so far.”

“The Lover” will be an omnibus drama telling the stories of various couples who live together. Jung Joon Young and Choi Yeo Jin will play a couple 12 years apart in age who live together. Jung Joon Young will be a guitarist, while Choi Yeo Jin will be an entrepreneur with an online food business who is 12 years older than him.

Oh Jung Se and Ryu Hyun Kyung will portray a couple in their 30′s who decided to live together instead of getting married. Park Jung Hwan and Ha Eun Sul will be a couple who just started living together.

The drama will be produced by producer Kim Tae Eun of “Super Star K” (second to fourth season), and will be penned by screenwriter Kim Min Seok (“SNL Korea,” “Enemy of Broadcast“).

Consisting of 12 episodes in total, “The Lover” will premiere on Mnet in April.

KBS’ New Stunt Variety Show “Lady, Action” Confirms Final Cast Lineup

The final cast lineup for KBS’ new stunt variety program “Lady, Action” has been confirmed.

A KBS producer shared, “Jo Min Soo, Kim Hyun Joo, Son Tae Young, Lee Si Young, Choi Yeo Jin, and Lee Mi Do will appear on the new pilot program ‘Lady, Action,’ which is aiming to broadcast at the end of April. In Korea, where female action stars are rare, these six actresses will be taking on action. [The show] will show the real process of pushing the limits of a ‘woman.’”

As previously reported, “Lady, Action” will follow actresses as they learn everything about action stunts. After the stars acquire sufficient skills through the variety show, KBS2TV is planning to produce a movie featuring the six actresses.

The KBS producer also revealed that the actresses have already begun training at an action school in order to pick up the basics prior to entering filming for the show.

Meanwhile, “Lady, Action” is expected to begin airing around the end of April.

Jung Joon Young Of ‘The Lover’ Says The Noona Romance Is Impossible

 

There's good news for viewers who enjoy a noona romance, that is one in which the female lead is considerably older than her leading man. 'The Lover,' which begins on April 2, may be just the guilty pleasure you've been waiting for.

However, Jung Joon Young, who plays the younger man, says such a real-life romance is impossible.
"The Lover" is a drama about four couples living in one apartment complex and one of the couples is mismatched in age. The woman, played by Choi Yeo Jin, is 12 years older than her man, played by singer and actor Jung.

That man is a wanna-be musician, who can't even play the guitar, so she supports him in the hope that he will one day realize his dream. They've lived together for a year but fight all the time, usually about money. But even though it's a difficult situation, they are crazy about each other.

Choi Yeo Jin, 31, is not really 12 years older than her co-star, Jung Joon Young, who is 26. But she does have a longer resume as an actress.

Choi was last seen playing Um Tae Woong's paralyzed sister in "Valid Love" and before that appeared as Lee Pil Mo's former lover in "Emergency Couple."

Singer and Superstar K winner Jung Joon Young has only had k-drama cameo roles, notably in "Fated To Love You" and "Monstar," although he can be seen this year in the film "Love Forecast." In that film his character also seduced an older woman, played by Moon Chae Won. So, he does have specific experience in the noona romance.

At a press conference for the drama, the actors discussed the characters' age difference. Jung Joon Young thought that in real life, the drama's couple would not be able to make it. And not because he had a problem with the age difference.

"A 12-year-age gap? That's impossible," he said. "She wouldn't even date a man like me. We had fun because of the age gap."

Choi had nothing but praise for her younger co-star.

"It's fun working with Jung Joon Young," she said. "There's no end to the laughter. I like that he is so unique."

The drama also stars Oh Jung Se, who appeared in "Nine Plus Boys" and Ryu Hyun Kyung of "Tasty Life: as a 30-something couple.  Lee Jae Joon of "Dating Agency Cyrano" plays a man who has to get a roommate but does not really want to interact with one. Japanese actor and singer Takuya Terada plays his roommate.

Hae Eun Seol of "Yoona's Street" and model Park Jong Hwan make up the final couple.

Kim Tae Eun III will direct the drama. Kim Min Suk II is the screenwriter.
