I mentioned offhandedly a few times about wanting to watch this movie,

I watched the movie yesturday!

it was pretty good although a bit cheesy...

I think Freddie Highmore's acting made up for the movie and the soundtrack was just awesome!!

I saw it last night, one of the best movies I've seen yet...still can get over it. Loved the cast - especially August - made me smile everything he was onscreen. Jonathan Meyers was great too! Handsome fella and fell in love with his Voice!!!! The guitarist - Kaki Kings was amazing!! The music was brilliant!!! Everyone should see this movie!

This movie is incredible! The beginning was a little slow, but when the story started unfolding, it was amazing! The theater that I saw it at had a malfunction with the film and it ended half way into the movie. Everyone was screaming 'cause it was just so good. They fixed it 15 minutes later, and by the end of it, everyone went out of the movie theater praising it. I heard mixed reviews with critics, but as long as Ebert and Roeper gives it thumbs up, it's all good.

My sisters didn't see the review for it...so i kept telling them that this movie is gonna be great. So we went on thanksgiving...like you said - it did start off jus a little slow...i looked over and I thought one of them fell asleep - but she wasn't =)

Then the movie started coming together...and I was sitting upright in my seat - jus in awe. hehe I read the reviews afterwards and I was thinking, how? how can you not love this movie. Yea, is was sweet, but not overly, and yeah - it was unbelievable- but it was different and left people with after thoughts. I'm still not over it. I even asked my brother if he wanted to see it, I'd go watch it with him. hehe.

i went and saw it today! sooo good! i loved it. freddie highmore is absolutely adorable. and it was so touching. and the music is just amazing. u just want to sit there and revel in it. altho robin william's character was very creepy. not his usual type of role.

and i agree that the beginning was slow..it's sorta like.when is something gonna happen. when is his brilliance gonna come thru? but when it did start coming together, it was brilliant.

it was shame how they cutted tablo and GHS's scenes... HEY GUYS!! HAVE YOU NOTICE IN THE END...when the kid conducts the orchestra...the fence had a banner...and guess what it said!!!
