Fans from Japan headed to Korea to see Kim Jae Joong, who is currently acting as ‘Young Dal’ in Triangle.

C-JeS Entertainment revealed, “2,000 fans came from Japan to Korea on June 20 to see Kim Jae Joong.”

According to the agency, 2,000 Japanese fans arrived in Korea last weekend via 66 flights. Upon their arrival in Korea, the fans headed to the filming site for Triangle to attend the open site event.

The fans also gifted the staff members with a company dinner and met up with Kim Jae Joong at a place near the filming site, who introduced the drama and shared stories behind filming.

The agency rep said, “It’s a surprising record that 2,000 fans came from Japan to visit Korea for this single event. This reflects their interest in drama Triangle and Kim Jae Joong’s popularity in Japan.”

Triangle has been pre-sold in Japan, China, Thailand and more, reaching profits of up to 7 million USD and the drama OST by Kim Jae Joong has ranked number two on the iTunes Japan’s OST chart and number four on the overall single chart.

Japanese fans stated, “We have a lot of interest in Kim Jae Joong’s drama Triangle. We heard he has been impressively acting out the dynamic character and has been havig busy days. We came to visit Korea to cheer for him. We hope to see his drama in Japan soon.”

Yes, you read right! JYJ will come together to greet fans for their upcoming Asia tour kicking off in Seoul this August!

C-JeS Entertainment stated on the 25th, "JYJ plans to meet 40,000 fans at the Jamsil Stadium, Seoul on August 9. This will be their first concert in four years since their concert in November 2010, which brought in a total of 70,000 fans over two nights."

"Starting with their Seoul concert at Olympic Stadium this August, [JYJ] plan to go on an Asia tour. As fans have waited a long time for JYJ's comeback, they plan to meet fans as they go from city to city in Asia in the latter-half of this year."

JYJ also shared their excitement, "We are thrilled at the thought of meeting fans through JYJ's album and concert in a long time. We are joyful and happy just from recording music with our members. We will repay fans' love with a good-feeling album and concert."

JYJ’s Kim Jae Joong was spotted cooling down in between shoots for drama Triangle.

C-JeS Entertainment announced on June 30, “Kim Jae Joong posted a set of behind-the-scenes photos from MBC’s Triangle on his official Facebook page.”

The pictures show Kim Jae Joong sitting in the living room of the house that he rents out in the drama, fanning himself as he talks to the staff members and becoming serious again as he resumes filming.

An affiliate of the drama said, “Since Heo Young Dal (Kim Jae Joong) makes the transformation from being a rebel from Gangwon province to the director of a casino, we’ve been making frequent changes in filming sites. It is tough filming in the hot weather but Kim Jae Joong has been brightening the filming site with his positive attitude, so we’ve been filming in a good atmosphere.”
