Kim Tae Woo Thanks Honey Lee for Persuading Yoon Kye Sang to Come Back to g.o.d


g.o.d’s Kim Tae Woo revealed that Honey Lee had a big part in the reunion of g.o.d.
On June 19, Kim Tae Woo appeared on CBS’s “Kim Jung Hyun’s News Show” and explained that, “Yoon Kye Sang worked hard as an actor to be in the position he’s in today and I’m sure it was hard for him to come back as a singer. However, celebrities are more credulous than you would think. I think he decided to do it because the people around him said good things about it. I think the opinion of his girlfriend Honey Lee, was what helped him make the final decision.”
Continuing on, Kim Tae Woo said, “Thankfully, Honey Lee was a fan of g.o.d. So, I requested her to put in a good word about coming back to the group. We received a lot of help from her.”
Last month, g.o.d released “Ugly Duckling,” which placed high on various music charts. Kim Tae Woo explained, “The fact that it’s our 15th year anniversary and that there are fans who have been patiently waiting for us was what helped us decide to make this comeback.”
He was in charge of the production for this album and revealed the behind the scene stories at the studio. He said, “Since the members are professionals at this, all I did was give them direction. It’s been a long time since all five members gathered so whenever we met at the studio, we would be busy chatting away and because of that, the recording expenses was high. After meeting all the members, I think I’m the one that changed the most. I got married and am now a father of a child and a president of an agency.” Currently, he is in charge of Soul Shop Entertainment and has debuted a rookie singer named Megan Lee.
On July 12 and July 13, g.o.d will be holding their “god 15th Anniversary Reunion Concert ” at the Seoul Jamsil Stadium. They will be doing a tour and are planning on holding a total of eight shows.
Kim Tae Woo made a funny comment: “The average age of the group is 39 years old. In order to prepare for the tour, we are riding bicycles to manage our health.”

INFINITE left a comment about competing against g.o.d and FLY TO THE SKY.
During an interview that they recently had with magazine '@star1', INFINITE talked about competing against g.o.d and FLY TO THE SKY, who were top idol groups back in early 2000s.
Sung Kyu said, "g.o.d and FLY TO THE SKY were my dream, and I grew up while listening to them. When they came back with new albums, all I could think of was that they did not change at all. I was amazed by how long they could continue their career."
He went on, "It was a great honor that we were nominated for #1 along with them. After that, I thought that I should become an idol star that younger musicians will be able to admire."
Hoya said, "We came back after about a year of break, and we met a lot of new singers. All of them were doing their best, and they were good. I hope to keep working with them, not fiercely competing against them."

Producer Kim Tae Woo Reminisces about the Past as g.o.d in New Teaser


Remembering the good old days, g.o.d released the third member teaser for Kim Tae Woo.
The teaser was released on June 23 showing Kim Tae Woo in the studio as a producer. He begins to remember the days when Kim Tae Woo was singing Words I Want to Say from his first solo album in 2006. But soon, his memory travels even deeper into the past as a smile appears on his face, hearing g.o.d’s Lie from 2000. 
It has not been announced what these teasers are for. .

Megan Lee revealed how long it took to record "8dayz", "Kim Tae Woo is really sweet like an older brother, but he is very picky as a producer. While recording the song '8dayz', the first verse took [5-6 hours to record]. It took a whole month to complete the song. Although it was difficult, I think I learned a lot in terms of music."
"I once met my g.o.d sunbaenims for the first time at the office, and I was surprised upon meeting Yoon Kye Sang sunbaenim. He is really handsome in person."

-----HotSechGodRG to comeback through new OnStyle entertainment program, "WISH"


"HotSechGodRG" was aired on Korea’s cable channel, OnStyle, and was extremely popular among the fans of the 4 legendary 90’s boy groups, H.O.T, Sechs Kies, g.o.d and NRG, and so they will be coming back through a new show titled "WISH".
H.O.T’s Moon Heejun, Sechs Kies’ Eun Jiwon, g.o.d’s Danny An and NRG’s Chun Myunghoon, the original members of OnStyle’s “HotSechGodRG” will also be starring on OnStyle’s new entertainment program “WISH”, which is an abbreviation of “Where Is my Super Hero?”
"WISH" will be a show in which the members of "HotSechGodRG" will be carrying out missions, and they have already begun filming the first episode in Seoul on the 24th of June.
The first air date has not yet been confirmed, however it is planning to be aired some time in the middle of July.

Park Joon Hyung Skateboards through Seoul in g.o.d Teaser
Proving age is nothing but a number, g.o.d’s biggest brother and leader, Park Joon Hyung unveiled his teaser.


The teaser was released on June 25, showing Park Joon Hyung riding his g.o.d skateboard through different parts of Seoul, twisting and turning along the way, even pulling a few tricks here and there. 
While he got his board, Park Joon Hyung played g.o.d’s Observation from its first album. 
Although no details have been released about its comeback, g.o.d has released four member teasers. Yoon Kye Sang’s teaser is the last to be revealed. 
Meanwhile, g.o.d will begin its national comeback concert tour on July 12.

Yoon Kye Sang is Left in the Darkness in g.o.d Teaser
Completing the five, g.o.d released the teaser video for Yoon Kye Sang, who found his way back to the group.


On June 27, g.o.d’s fifth video teaser focused on Yoon Kye Sang, who sat in front of plenty of lights, as cameras took several photos of him in the shoot. However, one by one, the cameras and spotlights disappeared, leaving the g.o.d member alone in the darkness. He takes out his earphones as g.o.d’s Road, which came out in 2001. 
The teaser also revealed the date July 1 and the words, “A Sky Blue Promise.” Sky blue is the color of g.o.d’s fanclub, fangod. 
g.o.d will release its eighth official album on July 9. Pre-orders for the album will start on June 27 at 2PM (KST).

The long-standing idol group g.o.d is most likely to have a comeback in the first week of July. Although not confirmed, the date seems most likely, according to insiders. 
g.o.d initially planned to release a new song on July 2, aiming to top the music charts for all of July. However, with the photo shoot for the album jacket being delayed, the music release also had to be pushed back. 
Another insider claimed that the group will officially announce their comeback date sometime this week. g.o.d is rumored to have had a lot of trouble picking the title track, as the album quality is very high and the title track kept being changed. The album is said to be extremely varied in genres, as they touch upon their strong genres, from club dance tunes to sad ballads. 
The first generation idol group also released its fifth teaser, and while there are various dates being shared for its comeback, the video puts the date of July 1. This fifth teaser focused on Yoon Kye Sang and also has the words, “Sorry for making you wait so long.”

The 'handsome boys of the 20th century' will host a new variety show on which they will seek to win the hearts of women (20-34 years of age) with their hero-like qualities. The show will also follow them on their mission to receive 69,950 likes on their SNS page to hold a guerilla open concert. The 69,950 stands for the number of seats that have to be filled at Jamsil Olympic Stadium for a concert to be sold out.

On June 30, g.o.d released a short video of all five g.o.d members greeting each other and having fun like old times, as their new track, Sky Blue Promise played in the background. g.o.d has swept 8 charts with their pre-release "Sky Blue Promise"!
The veteran group released their promise to their fans at noon KST on the 1st. It's a medium-tempo song that features g.o.d's trademark sound. It's a spin-off from their "One Candle" from their 3rd album. Some of the featured lyrics in the song, include, "We came to keep the vow we made saying we'd meet again when we left. IU Fulfills Her Wish by Featuring in g.o.d.’s 8th Full Length Album
IU fulfilled her long time wish by featuring in g.o.d.’s new album.


An afiiliate of g.o.d. told Newsen on July 4, “IU featured in a song called Sing for Me (translated) which is included in g.o.d.’s 8th full length album. It is not the title song.”
