Guest inufan52
my friend is a trainee there and he said that its not really what it seems to be because even though they casted you as a trainee that doesnt mean you will debut because the main reason almost every trainee is talking about is that they casted you before you get discovered by other companies they dont want you to go to their competition instead they take you in and leave you there to train there are more than 20 trainees there that have been training for 6 years already and still didnt debut many just quit and went home with years of their lives wasted but you see thats just how companies are theyre greedy and competitive. they are smart…VERY smart… but good news because if youre the main asians like chinese or japanese you will most likely to debut before many others partially because of your talent but mainly because of your connections they want to use you or others to open up to the market and expand there VERY SMART INDEED and cunning but thats about it i apologize deeply but its the truth my friend, korean, is training there and he said that if this offended you in any way please give this a second thought and try to understand its very easy to comprehend i wish everyone good luck and be careful, be safe, and be healthy! =) PS: i know this is kind of hypocritical but im auditioning too! haha im very sry! Guest girleye
I'm from Austria, but I 'm going to Toronto in 2 weeks and I would like to audition too. Do you think that I am allowed to audition too, even if I 'm not American or Asian citizen? I'm Chinese but born here in Austria. Do I have to know how to dance if I just want to sing? Can I fill in the form there? What I mean is that I won't send an EMail.

Yes I'm the girleye from youtube. Were there many people in NY? Were they good? I really hope for you to get a contract. I have the same dream like you. I would also sacrifice all this nice things in my life just to stand on a stage to sing and dance. How old are you? Are you Korean? Do you also have an account on youtube? Ohh...and something else. How many did they call to come in? Or did you sing alone? OOMG..I have so many questions.
Guest -LoVe-
heyy girleye, I'll answer your questions, lols. They send in a group of 20 peoples', but the first 10 they stand up in a line, then one by one they introduce themself just your name and #, then you say like I am gonna sing/dance/model/act. Then it just goes down the line. And the other 10 peoples' they watch you audition. After that the 1st 10 peoples' just leaves the room and then the other 10 peoples' just does the same. Guest Pinaiicolada
OOOH My group had alot of guys that sung like angels *.* The judges only talked to those in my group that could speak korean... they asked them questions and such like if that guy was that guys brother or friend or w.e x3 But yeah :/ I was one of the only people who could dance exceptional in the group (not to sound conceited.. x3) I wonder if not being the typical asian (chinese, japanese, korean etc.) lessens your chance of getting a callback

Guest holykeebler216
SM is holding auditions in LA every weekend at the moment i'm not sure when they will stop, but I'm going the weekend of thanksgiving. it's called "the search for the next BoA", and you can go to the website and find information im not auditioning to be the next BoA, and i dont think thats all theyre looking for you can try for specific categories, so yeah. question: if you dont want to get plastic surgery, will they drop you?
