I'm not from the Philippines but I'm filipino, pinay. My parents are form the Philippines, born and raised there. My dad is from Tarlac and my mom well I don't know exactly. There main dialect(sp) is Ilicano. I have a feeling that i'm not full on filipino because both of parents last name isn't filipino it's more of spanish.

Oh I'm from the US, Southern California.

^ if your parents were born and raised here and speak a native language, sounds to me then that you're fully filipino. most filipinos have spanish surnames anyway hehe i know for a fact that im a full filipino and yet there are people who live in places as far as peru and spain (clearly not related to me, haha) who have the same surname as mine.

anyway I was raised in the Philippines (Angeles, Pampanga) then again last year I moved all the way up to Europe >.<

I came back on a three weeks visit down in Phil. early this year...seems not me nothing changed, huh?

Then again I agree, too many korean restaurants popping all over the places...lol
