Another Fancam of SoHyun during the Peripera event, this one's closer
I love how she interacts with her fans~ This is the link of the short video I was talking about where some fans camped overnight outside the boutique. It was uploaded on Weibo so I assumed that the fan who video is either a Chinese or somebody who knows Chinese. I f you will also notice some of the people captured here can be seen at the video above (I think I saw 3 of them)

Maybe the hazzys bodyguard wasn't expecting that a lot of fans will go to the event and the venue is quite big (I think its hard to scope the venue more) thus they are stricter. I think Peripera fansign event was more contained and controlled because the venue is a small boutique with one entrance and exit? Btw, I think I already told you this hahaha I love how she got bodyguards in those events I can't help to imagine sometimes Sohyun is a contemporary princess / daughter of rich business man and seeing those bodyguards surrounding her is a really nice sight for me I think actor Uhm Ki Joon mentioned Sohyun in his fan meet?? Have you heard any updates about airing dates of Nightmare Teacher? It's been 1 month after they ended filming it, isn't it taking too long for them to decide when they will release it?
Yeah, the Hazzy's event was conducted in a mall in Busan and have a bigger space, unlike in Peripera which is only in a boutique. Also, more bodyguards are needed since most of the fans who came are males (IMO it is easier to contain female fans even though they are noisier lol), in the Peripera event uploaded by STAND BY, all the questions of the MC are towards the guys.

So Hyun also seems to be the type who you want to protect based on how her costars described her. Her V-app video gives me the impression that she's like a cute, innocent little sister who is very lovable and fun to be with haha.
I think Uhm Ki Joon mentioned this optical illusion picture in his fan meet. The picture became a buzz in Korean social sites since the people are arguing whether the 2 black stripes are his legs or just a design on his t-shirt. I think it's his legs though. Nevertheless SoHyun is so pretty~

Actually when you watch the full video, the bodyguard gestured to the fans who waited for her until she finishes the fan sign event and she went to greet them. Even when she was to ride the vehicle, she greeted the fans who were at the back waiting for her. Compared to the Hazzy's bodyguards, I think the bodyguards of Peripera are kinder.
Netizens praised her for her politeness and friendliness. As you can see in STAND BY'S video (which by the way is pure fantastic especially the BGM), she was like talking to close colleagues and you can never feel that she distances herself from the fans just because she's an actress. She even high fives them and shakes their hands. I hope I can also have her fansign and shake her hand -

I followed several accounts of SoHyun's korean fans (apparently most of them are guys) and heard that some fans already lined up the night before the fansigning event. They waited outside in the cold weather since the Peripera store is only a boutique and not inside the mall. I think some of her Chinese fans went to the event since I saw a fansign in Chinese. He/She also took a short video of the people who waited in line overnight (and yes you guessed it right, almost all are males, the male power of SoHyun) Plus, only the first 50 customers can have a signature (and the internet winners) and these 50 people are already completed at 6:50 AM KST. One SoHyun fan which I am following on twitter arrived at around 8-9 AM and was forced to go home because the 50 quota was already met. And imagine that the 50 people waited for at least 5 hours outside just to meet her. SoHyun must have heard this information from the store owners and was very sorry for some of the fans who went very early but was not accommodated (you can feel she is really sorry on her post). I hope she does a FANMEET in the future to accommodate all her fans
I am crossing my fingers for a romcom or a movie. Seems like she wants to act in a drama where she will have a cheerful character. Or maybe a cable drama where she plays a dorky character. I want to see her bubbly and playful side.
She is so sweet and polite. And I sooooooooooooooooooo love her outfit, she looks so elegant.

I was really happy to see her fangirls. During the Hazzy's fansign event, almost 90% of the fans are males
it's not a bad thing tho (I would be more surprised actually if she won't have a lot since YooJung and MBC host said she's men's style) but it's refreshing to see some girls admiring her. One k-actress said that she wants fangirls since for her, that's an indication that she's a good actress lol. This is STAND BY's (@19990604_com ) project for Rice Wreath Support for So Hyun's upcoming web drama Nightmare Teacher. It will run until 31 Oct 2015. What's good about this is that even international fans can join. The app is very simple.Here's how to register and send hearts:
1. Download the Fanmaum app in Playstore (unfortunately it's not available in app store)
2. Follow the steps in the picture above (thanks to Fanmaum's twitter account for the pictures)
Some notes:
1. I had problems with the nickname since the app keeps on saying that it is already taken, so what I did was to input numbers as my nickname. (my 6 digit birthday to be exact)
2. Since I have zero knowledge in Korean, I can only download the english apps in the Save free heart option. By the way, you download these apps to accumulate hearts for free. There will be times when you won't get the corresponding hearts after you download the app, but just try again, patience is a virtue haha. Also, some apps are available in selected countries. It will be of great advantage if you know Korean though.
3. You can only send hearts if you have at least 100 hearts.

Thank you for always updating! Actually I find the games also IMPOSSIBLE to finish but I think not all but some are doable, also I download some korean apps and it gave me corresponding hearts. I was able to give 5000 hearts just by downloading and having the daily prices.

So Hyun without make-up is really my favorite!!! Her eyes are so big and cute 9 more days to go! Let's continue supporting this Fanmaum project until the end!!! We still have to raise 150K+ hearts for this to be successful. There are new free apps that you can download, most of them give around 1300+ hearts, you just have to play their game and accomplish points.
I am excited to see more pics of her on Saturday, she will surely be gorgeous again on that event. I heard the fansign event was conducted because the sales on PeriPera items exceeded around 5 million won and became popular. The event is also on a first 50 customers basis + 10 winners (?). I don't know how many did she sign for Hazzy's (I saw a fan in twitter holding a stub and he's 80th) but I guess they are trying to limit this event especially that it's going to be done in Seoul. So Hyun fighting!

This picture can justify her male fan base
I've seen some fans who were able to get her signature (they post their queue number in twitter and IG), and almost of all of them are males and from Seoul who traveled all the way to Busan. One even came from HongKong. One fan in twitter said that she's pretty and polite.I love her outfit, very age appropriate though I want her artist to tone down her make-up, she looks better with lighter or without them on.
I always love how her smile and laugh becomes gentle when talking with children and dongsaeng fans, she really seems to be a gentle and kind noona/unni.
She will have another fan signing event for Peripera on the 24th, but now it's in Seoul. I expect more people will come since most of her fans are in Seoul (as I observed from their tweets yesterday).

I know there are really awards that are not announced beforehand. In any case I'm happy that she got recognition for her acting in School 2015, she really deserved it. I think she's the youngest winner in that awards night.
Oh and I think there's a higher chance that YSJ and NJH will attend KBS drama awards. Since yesterday's event is considered larger (since all dramas regardless of their broadcasting networks are competing), winning is a little bit harder. KBS on the other hand consists of only dramas broadcast under KBS. I thnk they have a higher chance there.

[GOOD NEWS] So Hyun won "Star of the Year" for School 2015 in Korean Drama Awards!!!
I'm just really happy since from what I know this award is not announced (remember when I was ranting how So Hyun wasn't even nominated in any category while all her co-stars were). I feel like a proud mother here She deserves all the recognition and award. She seems to be really thankful especially to the fans, she posted STAND BY's fancams and thank the fans who went to the venue. So proud of her!On a sad note, none of her School 2015 co-stars won. SungJae and JooHyuk didn't attend, only SooHyang (Kang So Young) walked into the red carpet. I hope all of them get awards on the year-end KBS drama awards.
She's just gorgeous with the long gown (though I am not really a fan of the color). She really looked like a goddess.

So STAND BY decided to collect more hearts. From the original 640,000 target, which by the way was already achieved yesterday, an additional of 360,000 hearts were raised to accumulate 1M. And I am very happy since in their latest IG post, they included an English translation of the post, which means that they noticed the support of international fans! Yeeeyy!!!

It was so fun to watch the video live and with her fans. I remembered we were raising 100,000 hearts before 6:30 KST and some of the fans' hands were getting numb from endlessly clicking the heart button but we still continued. Oh and I hope So Hyun does another video since among the SidusHQ talents who currently had videos, she has the highest hearts and comments given that she only had the video 2 days ago. Currently, she has 769,328 hearts, 45,719 comments and 63,866 views. She mentioned during live that she can't read some of the comments since the comments come up very fast! Well she is so right, I am a witness lol. I really loved her V app chat. Somehow it shows her more natural side and her cuteness. She looks so genuine and kind.
BTW, I advise that you watch her video directly in V app to add to the number of views, and also you can flood comments and also click the hearts endlessly when you're watching. We're aiming to raise 1,000,000 hears for her video.@makabe23 When I watched the video, I also get the feeling that she exudes more of a noona/unnie vibe than a dongsaeng vibe. Nam Joo Hyuk said in an interview before that he sometimes feels she is his noona (even though he's 5 years older) when they are acting and he doesn't feel the age difference since So Hyun is mature.
Oh and So Hyun's goal for 2016: Learn how to cook! OMG she's really so cute. I hope she does a chef role in the future. Many guys will fall for her more as she will capture their hearts through cooking haha.

Honestly I thought that So Hyun was "forced" (not actually, but more like not because she wants to but she needs to) to act in this drama since the producer is her agency but didn't mind it, but since many of you brought up the subject, I am now thinking if that's really the case. Like everybody else in this forum I'm worried about her health since she didn't have enough rest, a legit long one on top of that, but is going to film again for this drama. I don't know what her agency (and mom) is thinking casting her in several productions this year. More like overexposing her to different types of audience and genre? Since at the moment she can only act in High School dramas if she wants a lead role, and there are few non-High school dramas which have female leads suitable for her age. I'm guessing that they might fear miscasting her if she does another HS drama similar to School 2015 (but that's just my two cents). Pure Love is a bit different since it's not really a HS drama but more like a love story of childhood friends.
With regards to her acting with idols, that's inevitable. There are few actors around her age who can pair up with her (I can only think of Yeo Jin Goo and Kwak Dong Yeon), and since the target population of HS themed dramas are students, it's better to put an idol to get attention. I guess that's one of the reasons why actors/actresses have prejudice with acting idols. Even I have doubts watching a drama if the lead is an idol. Though I feel she is quite aware of the fangirls' capabilities and rabidness. She is more careful around KyungSoo than she is with SungJae, then I realized the fangirls of EXO. Plus I observed she's not really clingy when it comes to guys, she only looks at them but never touches them. She's the reserved type. So the fangirls don't need to worry that much.

[NEWS] For 2015 Melon Music Awards, So Hyun will be MC along with Red velvet 's Irene, Seo Kang Joon, Lee Yoo Bi and Kim Shin Young.
It will be held next month in the Olympic Park Gymnastics Stadium on Nov 7th 15'
Apparently SoHyun was chosen since she is the former MC of Music Core. Wahhh MC SoHyun is back! She's also good in MCing so I hope she goes back to being an MC when she doesn't have a drama. And a reunion with Seo Kang Joon! (they played as lovers in Suspicious Housekeeper) Actually during Korea Drama Awards they are sitting together and both of them won an award
I just saw it this morning, and STAND BY decided to increase again her support project by 200,000. At the moment, the project is at 85% (1,028,162 hearts) and we have 2 days left. I think this is a good approach of making the target hearts higher by certain days since there is no definite date yet for SoHyun's web drama press conference. Let's continue supporting this one, this very kind and pretty girl deserves to be showered with love!
